Never mind, I answered my question by playing, and yes, every recipe is available at this time. Although, I hate to admit that I liked the previous combat style, by leveling up and buying skills. Took some time, but I have used to the new one too.

The second connection puzzle does not complete, even though I have connected both sides as much as possible. The hints no longer turn any wires, and I'm pretty sure the available wires changed when I left and re-entered...oh, and the help window for this mini-game is empty. Any hints?
EDIT: Never mind, you need to make a connection without any loose ends. Could make that clearer in the description.
