no updates are being released to the community. Period. the discord's mod team won't take that risk again, and that's assuming the dev never finds out about this and even actually continues to develop the mod in the first place.

You can thank this troll for ruining any shot you all had at a completed version being released. had they decided not to seek attention and validation through this forum, or had they decided to act like an adult and consider the consequences their actions would bring, the discord's moderators would not be making this decision, and we wouldn't be seeing all this nonsense. but because they've chosen to be a child, plans were changed, and the consequences will come for everyone as a result.

The CH authorities is a valid concern and I understand now.
However isn't this mod non-profit ? If it is can the original game dev still seek legal action ?
If it's non-profit isn't it fair use ? Or am I thinking too much in term of Western laws ?

The VIP mod is for non profit and from what I can gather is a passion project where he want more content in the game and given state of development issue that 3in1 mod had, he decide to do the work himself. He also isn't looking for money for the mod, He is willing to provide it for free and when he believe the mod is ready for public release after his finish work he want in the game, Hence the "stolen asset" is within the game file.

Doing the research myself is very difficult since again, the original chinse dev for the VIP mod is a ghost on the social media platform. I had to use some alternative extension in order to comb through their entire set which may set alarm bell for me to get ban again on their site due to chinese "security"(great firewall) but alot of the public info I can find after look through several thousand page of comment was how someone recreated some of the Lost work the 3in1 fail to deliver. It seen like the person who is Made the VIP mod has always delete account and his work after a single post? because most comment connect or post are like empty link.

What more looking into the history of the 3in1 mod before the 1.00v seen to me that the 3in1 mod creator while posting update to an exent but lost 4 possible month work of update? This is after his announcement to come back to work on the mod, 1 being an official post of him losing the work with 3 being comment under other page post of him not saving his work after a month of progress and rebuild. it might be since the updated build is nothing like the work he post on the social media.

This is why earlier post that was found on the discord and this download for the 3in1 mod is a demo that is played only up to chapter 3

To be brief from what I can barely gather is the dev who is making the VIP mod is spending his own money to get help in doing some coding and art work done for the game. While their are stolen asset, these are place holder and what more has set up 2 month work in advance to the mod. Their was also mention beside him getting into trouble with his own country due to their crack down, People will always have bad intention for his game upon public release. and the last thing he want is people trying to make money out of his work or trick people into it.

Not long after the 3in1 1.00V was release to the public, alot of the chinese site had advertise it as a new product for profit

This is going to be the final informative piece i will post since i am honestly having eye problem looking at the chinese site and trying to translate them. Alot of them are imagine base rather then text base sometime.

This is related to the topic to the mod and informative, if this get deleted or something I ain't coming back to explain anything anymore since alot of people just want to know what is going on. (I hold nothing against f95zone mod but just saying this thread might get longer with constant question of why this mod not updated/when this mod being update/who made the mod)

Side note: I wish I can access the host group for the mod but that is in lockdown before I could join as NGL combing through these chinese site are hell with constant Login spam/image board chinese that require imagine translation which are several page long, with trying to not get auto ban on the social media site.

I know that the Dumbnightmare person got the VIP mod from Celesphonia Discord server. When you’re given the download link, there are multiple warnings not to share it, as doing so could halt the project’s progress permanently or making the mods exclusive to Chinese players only.
The moderators of the Celesphonia Discord server had already warned everyone not to spread the link. It was meant to be an unfinished testing version for bug test, yet they ignored all the warnings and two years of waiting and post it here.

Like just wait until its completed first then feel free to upload it or whatever.

its hard to get into Baidu acc due to many amount of verifications and then theres lvl 8 Requirements to get into the Download Link. I think the group get more oppresive and locked down even further due to this at the moment.

It's even pinned on the Thread on discord btw and the pinned message date Is from before the upload date. The Same pinned message has been sent to every single member in private when given the link and they all AGREED, everyone has been advised to also read the terms again on the Thread carefully as x moderators request with the terms being infringed leading to a Ban or worse to the cease of this mod being distributed at all, so do not even try to say it was not.

And no, It was not for a selected audience. The discord link to the community was even shared here Upon request from some f95 users and everyone was getting a shot at It Simply in agree with the terms they accepted, so even this take Is debunked and there Is nothing absurd about It. It was as simple as It gets, join discord, be active to report bugs and engage discussions about It eventually, keep It low and do not leak It anywhere for the time being until a later date or we all going to get nothingburger as a Result, and that's exactly what happened, now it's all a nothingburger both for us and for the f95 community and peoples are legitly upset about It because we all went through a 2+ years of nothingburger even on discord.

I do enjoy mod that have additional content for the game. I also enjoy the game when it got post end game, I am looking forward to the Shimobrashira sequel game and hoping that could be modded next.

I also remember checking Shimobrashira extra or rather left over work he drafted for the game but didn't make it into the game but is on his Ci-EN.
Beside going into the f95zone game comment to see any possible mods created, I also follow CI-EN stuff, they also have mod for game on Ci-EN.

Edit: Forgot to mention he has adult version of the main and side character in the sequel game



If the chinese modder does get their hand on the sequel and mod it also similar to the 3in1 or VIP mod man we are going to have a feast.
The celespohnia hax mod is also decent atm playing it.

Judging by the name of the group as you mention I think they might be able to obtain the mod for this game when that does happen.

I think the group will be more oppress by most people here on the thread who just want to defend a person who leak it which is a liar in sense, since people basically prove he didn't get the mod himself and he is piggy backing the effort of other people effort.

I do mean the chinese site hosting mod are really crazy on how much effort and literal social credit score to get mod for anything. Ex: you need some chinese cloud download account to download some chinese made ZZZ Mod or other game mod. which also have a level requirement.

Some are part of a group that you need to be in to download which also have a requirement.

To best of my knowledge, after visiting so many chinese modding site and social media that host these have many level requirement just to access them and each step also have a level requirement.

it like some sort of manga joke thing of you have to be level 3 to see if book exist,level 5 to pick up a book, level 10 to open a book,level 15 to look at the word, level 20 to actual read the book, level 30 to turn a page, and another level to do anything else.

The chinese sometime like to mod the living hell out of games when they get the chance, which can change the entire game system but the step to be able to play them or use them are also hell to walk through.
