Can't have it both ways chad. Personally, I agree with Alexander, we're a pirate site and unless there is specific context otherwise (i.e. the author/creator is an actual member of our community who has been involved for a while) we're really under no obligation to care anymore than we do for any other dev whose game is posted.

Aight you're clearly can't read... I can't know something no one will explain. What is the problem with this mod? I already have a copy of it thanks to someone else, but I'm not sure what the problem is with the discord. Instead of literally making useless posts accusing others of that, maybe use your brain and explain.

I did post it before but longer TLDR because i Need to go step by step like when trying to explain to a Little kid in the learning phase.

1) The mod Is not in a complete state, leaking It before time Will probably make the developer cease to develop or share It even privately.

2) It Is from a chinese modder shared in private, there were chinese laws on the table and the concern to take a careful approach was totally valid.

3) No, It Is bad actually, because there were terms users on discord agreed on and they broke that. It's also ironic how some of those now posted here speaking shit about how reusing assets from a game Is bad, ironic because we are on a pirate site and that's a stupid and brainless pretense while all that the discord community asked was, join in the discord(which was linked here so It was not a secret), ask moderators to share and keep It inside discord(which you could freely join before the leak), be Active of posting Images and stuff in the Thread that was made for It on discord(so yeah, they all had the chance to get the mod Without paying for It and being dumb to the point of letting It cease to update).

I assure you that There's Absolutely nothing complicated to understand and everyone was having his chance at It for free Without posting It here.

The difference? Here it's at risk of getting seen by the developer that Will cease giving us all updates and this way everyone Will suffer of not having a complete version, on discord It was kept Just on the Thread made for It for everyone to discuss Without having the Dev deciding to not update but apparently that Is too hard for peoples making ironic comments about reused assets from Others games being bad while being on a pirate site to get games Is totally fine xD.

Absolute freaking cinema right there!

Conclusion? Now the mod Is not in a complete state and no One Will get updated for It.

I already edited my post. I don't care, man. He's hardly the first modder/dev to scream at pirates, and will hardly be the last. His excuse being fear of chinese law is moronic, period. There are a lot of Chinese devs doing worse without a care, and if he's truly afraid, then he should stop. A mod made from stolen porn is not worth Chinese prison, but I still think it's a really dumb excuse, so he's either ignorant or lying.

It's not ironic. We're a piracy site. The irony is that he says doing X thing is bad and then does that himself. We say X bad thing is fine and we don't care if you do it because we do too. So we allow what we do, he is angry about others doing what he does. See the problem?

Again, this is way too much drama for me, and from a pron mod. I don't know why modders seem utterly addicted to drama but christ on a cracker it's like two sides of a coin.

I got the mod, I know where to get it now when it updates, that's all I care about. Have a good day.

I think folks are misunderstand who is pissed. It goes as follows:

1. A mod author (not the 3-in-1 mod author) released a new mod. This mod is incomplete but very good.
2. Said mod author was restricting who could download it.
3. Mod author released the mod a select community on Discord (not the mod author's Discord, but the general MGC modding Discord)
4. Everyone who got the mod link agreed not to share.
5. One of those people shared what they agreed to not share.
6. Now the community is unable to get updates to the mod.

It's not the author that is upset (although the author may be upset, but we don't know). It's the community that is upset. The community that worked hard to gain the mod author's trust in order to get the mod. The community is upset because 1 person has stopped them from getting the completed mod and ruined the trust they worked hard to build with the mod author.

That's it.

This probably wouldn't be a problem is someone has just waited for the mod to be completed.

The 1.2 patch is for the first mod not the second one. Yeah, they're 2 different mods not 1.

Reading Comprehension at its finest... no updates are being released to the community. Period. the discord's mod team won't take that risk again, and that's assuming the dev never finds out about this and even actually continues to develop the mod in the first place.

And for the record, I'm not For or Against the sharing of the mod (It was going to get leaked eventually, since the entire vetting system was trust based which... why? at the same time, not sharing the mod was a direct instruction included alongside the link to the mod, with the given reason that sharing it would cut the flow of links and updates to the people, which it did.) so don't start coming after me with dumbass takes about how this is a piracy site or whatever.

That's what Im wondering: is this a new mod or a reupload because all the screenshots and description of this mod is in English and the chinese changelog didnt mention any of these features in this mod. Its a free download too.

That's a mod that was already showcased on Steam among the community pictures from a while now, never found the actual link of It tough because there was only PICTURES Without a link on Steam about It, so It Is not related to the VIP mod.

Ironic. As in, I wasn't talking about the super secret discord. You are indeed correct as it's already been leaked and was readily offered. Reading comprehension indeed.

What you got offered from the leak was the base version of It Without updates. The developer Is still working on It and i know because i already have a version you don't have from the link that has been leaked here that has additional CG's tied to additional loss scene and bugfixes. Try Reading again please? What about "You Will not get further updates" you are not understanding?

Also, if it's giving you headaches, you don't care about It and you Wish It to die, then why you are still answering pretending to know about It and pretending you are Getting the updates? At this point i even wonder why you making so many remarks about It...you are clearly hateful toward It and you dont care so why? Is It an attempt to get more updates because you know the leaked version isn't updated and finished or Just free hate speech?
