From what i remember the sequel also had that mechanic and Magical Girl Celesphonia had something similar.

I haven't come close to finishing every route/scene/ending and don't plan to but there is a slavery route in the kagura version.
I believe that the bandit leader needs to be alive though.

You don't need any save slots, you just need to use the guild documents to access the recolletion room. Of course, if you start with being captured, you need to get your stuff back to have access to the guild documents.

If you really want to, I can create and attach a save slot ...
