I think the dev focused on the wrong thing to end it. Cause let's be real, there is no hope for act 2, when he says he might or maybe, pretty much means no, otherwise he would of straight up confirmed it.

The ending should of been focused on Beth and MC. Spending a little time together, she reveals she is pregnant. And another sweet moment or two, which would set up hope for the future, but also be a nice ending, if nothing else comes, instead of what we got which felt like a very much bigger cliffhanger and very much a non-ending.

Also, seen some people mention Steam, just forget that. Unless you plan on actually making season 2, just forget it, cause with this current ending, it just a bad idea, and would piss people off.

But yeah, very disappointing for such a great game. Many girls Forgotten and lacked content, ending focused on wrong thing, and some other things. This game deserved better.

Eh, i wouldn't be so fast jumping into conclusions. There's reasons why creative people don't necessarily immediately jump to make second season/continue story after one part is finished. One big reason is that if the project has taken long time already, they might be worried about being burned out of the story if they continue immediately. It's not that rare thing to happen.

Now about the ending, any reveal like Beth being pregnant would require significant time skip, which would be bad idea if they do actually plan on eventually returning to make the second act. Could the current ending be better, definitely. There's many things that could have been better in this game. Like not dropping Jessica and replacing her with definitely weaker LI Sandra. And sure, more content with other girls would have been welcome, but with time frame of the story being just 18 days so far, there's not much time you could give them.

It's disappointing that they won't continue immediately to second act, but better that they keep the option for it open rather than just say that it isn't coming out ever.

People think abandoned tag here has way too much power. It's not honestly that good of an indicator about anything. Way better indicator is how long it has been since last time they actually posted something. Plenty of devs that have been active here don't give a shit about this site giving them abandoned tag.

Why would it need a significant time skip ? She just can be pregnant if there is a 2 act.

It's not honestly that good of an indicator about anything.

It's certainly not perfect, but i think it's in general a rather good indicator, sure some games come back, but it's not that common, a game coming back and actually being completed even less so.
At the least you can usually tell that there is serious problems with the development.

I don't know what to consider this ending, bad??? mediocre??? or simply the result of someone who was lazy about their own work. There are so many unfinished things left, so many girls who weren't given more content, and what the hell is that message at the end? Maybe there'll be a second season??? Maybe not??? What's the point of assuring their Patreon fans that they won't do the same with future projects?

For the creator's financial well being, it's important that they make a sequel, it's incredible that they thought such an unsatisfactory ending was a good idea.

Although I must admit, I'm a little disappointed, because I'm worried whether I'll live to see the start of the second season. They haven't learned to stop time yet =) And although the ending is a bit abrupt, it's still exactly how it should be. Open-ended.

Oh well, let's leave out all the debauchery the main character does with his girls (we can imagine it perfectly in our heads haha).

Maybe the author is simply not ready for incest. (Give him time. When he is, maybe he'll continue this story, starting a second part.)
After all, the protagonist has two half-sisters (as in life, sometimes things are worth a dime, and then a whole lot), and he suddenly becomes Onii-chan, haha. And that's a slightly different story. Integrating two sisters into a harem requires a lot of experience from the autor. Let the author gain some experience, and then "show us all where the crayfish hibernate" =)
(Or maybe not, but we'll hope for the best, right?)

I was really looking forward to more, including training the new maids and dominating the ice queen and the officer more. Now there's super-duper hot half-sisters... and the game ended.

Well, here's hoping the next game is inspiring so that we might get an Act 2 of this one. While I'm sad to see it end so abruptly, I am thankful for what we got. The narrative was written well with a great tone, and the girls were all great. Thanks for all the fish!
