Sharing my personal favorites of the videos by MaidenMasher. These are not all of the author's videos, only those that I liked.
I recoded everything with a more modern codec with good settings. The resolution of all videos is preserved, nothing was upscaled or reduced, except for the fact that some videos had black bars at the bottom and top, I cropped them. The author has a number of videos with different voiceovers, let's say there are two files with absolutely identical video sequences, but with English and Japanese voiceovers - I just took the audio from the Japanese version and added it to the container with the English one, thereby saving space on the hard drive. In the new videos, MaidenMasher has an astronomical bitrate, he makes a maximum of 2K video, and for 2K, a bitrate of 20 MB is already prohibitive quality, and he bangs out 40-50 meters. I set VBR with an average value of 16 MB, that is, the bitrate in my rips can rise and fall. The size of the videos is reduced almost twice, in some cases three times. Deleted duplicate frames. Removed blends, not 100%, it's a very painstaking process, it could have been done better, but it's a lot of work. Here's what you might not like: I cut out some openings, the author's intros (not all) and glued some videos together - more about this in the changelog under the spoiler. I did it for myself!
All my videos have a name structure, the first thing is the universe, for example: Marvel, DC, Resident Evil and so on. This is very convenient for sorting, since I have a lot of different 3DCG authors in my collection. Usually the first thing is the character name and the file is placed in the folder with the universe name. I use a global search across all folders, all authors and can see all the files at once from all places. And if the first thing in the file name is the character, then the location of the file in the folder with the universe loses its meaning, but if the universe is written in the first place, then all the files are sorted. That is, in the first place is a universe like Tekken, then the character name Asuka, and then the author's name Maiden Masher with the video number 01-99, then comes what was written by the author himself.
