My personal playthrough the last time I did a start-to-finish run was around 25 hours as of v0.15. Most people will obviously take longer than I do, so it's probably closer to 30-40 hours, especially if you include all the optional content.

And if you find any bugs, feel free to post them here or DM them to me so I can fix 'em.

Sounds like you are, though you should get an "end of version" message that specifies v0.15 after the cult segment ends to confirm. Regardless, Master of Dune is for the second half of Act 2, which will start with v0.16.

For the optional content, there's 30 trophies that can be earned (though 28 and 29 aren't fully implemented yet and some are seasonal; there's details on which is which in the FAQ on my blog, link is in my signature), plus the love shack (which is to the east right outside the player Estate if you haven't found it yet).
v0.15.1 is pretty much exclusively additional love shack content, and I'm currently working on v0.15.2, which will be optional affection quests (which is in turn supposed to unlock even more love shack content; that might get split off into v0.15.3 and be it's own update depending on how long everything takes).
kk. thanks. i know there are some things i haven't quite gotten done yet for optionals but i think i got all the current maids. except i missed the demon thing in the tower. now sure how to get the haunt back at this stage thought o try it.

if you're at the end of 0.15 content, you can't, you're in.... what the name of summer (if it was told before ? ) there's Haunt/Fall, Freeze/Winter, Grow/Spring and ???/Summer ?

Either you'll need to wait next update if the plot moves enough to get a season change, or load an ealier save (before the 2nd freeze)

If i'm not mistaken, later (way later, as in endgame content i think) you'll be able to switch/wait season changes

You're welcome!

Seasons come around as part of game progress. Like Kenad said, I do have plans to add a "time skip" function after the story ends (and experimented with it in the last version in the previous engine) so you can go back and get anything you missed after the story is over that'll let you manually activate seasons, but for now, I'm hoping I'll be able to get some bigger updates done in time for this year so the seasons line up with seasonal updates.
Otherwise I'm going to have Halloween for Christmas, and Tim Burton I am not.

But yeah, if you want to go back and get the seasonal stuff right now, you'd have to revert to an earlier save. If you don't mind waiting, they'll be back eventually.

what the name of summer (if it was told before ? ) there's Haunt/Fall, Freeze/Winter, Grow/Spring and ???/Summer ?
There kinda isn't a name for summer (the season, not the Maid) in the setting.

The Haunt is less of a season and more the result of lingering chaotic Theurgic energy that just happens to look like Fall in some parts of the continent, the Freeze happens due to some historic events that'll get covered in Act 3 probably (the continent is actually fairly close to the planet's equator, so they wouldn't get a normal winter), and the Grow is closer to wildlife and plants adapting to the massive uptick in energy in the atmosphere than actually being spring.

So what would register as summer is closer to "the air is done being weird for the year, we're back to normal." The other continents do experience proper seasons, but the setting hasn't quite hit a "global economy" stage yet, so the concept is kinda cultural still.

Anyone have the answers to dominate griselda in the debates?
There's a loose guide somewhere in these thread pages if you want to dig for it. I have no idea how far back it is at this point, though.

If you want to give it another shot before looking for that - in general, the idea is to not give her information, including information by omission (meaning staying quiet when she probably already knows the truth).
There's also some opportunities to course correct during final negotiations, so if you're not sure if you made it or not, don't choose the "get naked" options, actually negotiate.

If you played Arrival and have the Clown Nose, there should also be an instance of Punchinella in your guest house that will tell you how many points you've earned toward the achievement.

This is gonna sound kinda random but yeah.
So, my 'Trails' addiction kicked in and I'm really enjoying Trails Through Daybreak and I'm currently in this little village on a case and I'm talking to all the NPCs and am, once again, reminded of just how well written and 'real' they are.

Why does this matter and how does it relate to this game?
Cuz I get the same vibe from the writing in this game.
Actually, it's one of the things I rally like about it even if I do have my issues with the game.
I think the one thing indie games like this do better though is sometimes going the extra mile with side quests that aren't super obvious or to the detail in the Folk exclusively speaking Uncommon.
But then, I'm the kinda dork who enjoys breaking into randos houses and talking to everyone I can at least twice.
Can't wait for the next build... even if Melissa gives me a giant migraine and the lack of decent grinding spots.

just started the game after doing the lil prequel and did not expect it to get that heavy that quickly. I definitely appreciate Master's character after the cumhail sequence.

A bug (?) to report, three questions, and a request:

Bug: Emily doesn't show up in the maids list under estate, which is leaving my completion at 95% (unless she doesn't count but then why would Vicky?)

Q1: What's the deal with the abandoned estate in the North Forest? I can spare the Silcrow, but it seems...anticlimactic? The staff still seem zoned out afterwards, I abandoned that save, do I have to wait longer, does it have anything to do with making a Writ (based on the not-abandoned for 50 yrs section of Ambrose's treatise on conflict)?

Q2: You mention a hidden attic in the Lalita Estate. Any hints on that? There's only so much interacting with random walls before I lose interest.

Q3: Are the druids around still? Do I have to find them in a particular order/ season?

Request: Lothario's maids seem too hot to only get the thumbnails and sprites, any chance we can get to look at Blondie and Ginger's full outfits while we talk to them? I believe we only see them in the magazine. (Peeking at bondage practice would be hot too)

The side quests in Augalamh didn't seem to trigger as there's nothing to do. Don't know whether I'm missing something or what. EDIT: nvm seems it's only available after doing the tower and getting the two holds.

Yup, Emily's meant to show up but the entry discovery bugged out. It's been fixed for v0.15.2.

The Nithercott Estate was meant to tie into the first Haunt, but I didn't have enough time to develop the update as intended in time for that year's Halloween release, so it (along with the Beauregard Estate in the East Swamps and the Edgerton Estate in the North Swamps) got tied into the second Haunt. For all three, repairing/destroying/ignoring the headstones all have different outcomes in that segment, with the Nithercott Estate in particular having some additional content (unless you destroy the headstone) after completing that segment that'll become relevant in Act 3.

That would be telling. =P It's on the west wall to the south of the stairs on the upper floor, but there's nothing there (right now; I'm hoping to have time to do something with it for v0.15.2). For all the asinine complaints I get of "big empty maps," that attic right now literally is just a big empty map. It originally didn't exist because big and empty is all it would've ever been, but people kept asking about it and I can't stop myself from putting secrets in places, so now it's there and it'll have a purpose eventually.

It's possible to meet one druid at random in the Deep Wilds (she has around a 1-2% chance of appearing) and you can get to the grove for another druid at any time, but druids will only appear/talk to you properly either during the Grow or if you have the trophy associated with them. Even the one that appears randomly in the Deep Wilds won't really talk to you if she shows up and you don't have the trophy.

That's actually something else that's coming as part of v0.15.2 with Alice's affection quest. I'm still not 100% set on how I want to do it, but they'll be involved.
