Is it possible to break the game when using save editor to adjust party member stats in the early going before recruiting the healer maid when meeting douchebag master for the first time? I seem to be stuck at the point where you are suppose to head north to get the 4th maid as when I try to head north, Melissa stops me and tells me to head west even though I already did and the quest tells me to head north after I exterminated all the rats at home base.
I really can't proceed after sleeping with the first maid for the first time, as after that my party doesn't regroup before the boss fight with the pack of rats.

Sorry for not being around. Burnout is a bitch, and life has kept me much busier than usual for the past few months. Today is the first day in a long while it feels like I have room to breathe. Hopefully I got everybody that had a question and didn't get an answer.
If I missed you, or you found a bug, or you still have a question, feel free to @ me.
Thank you. But I must ask why is "Find Lalitas room not checked than?" I mean, I am standing right in it and have already completed all the dialogue there.
There was a bug in the Task List for that step. The actual next step should still be visible at the bottom of the list, but the bug was fixed for v0.19.
The next step should be to go back to Evdokia's audience room (again) and talk to her about going north of the gate. She'll try to pull a fast one on you, and then you should be able to get into the city.
Playing v0.17.
- Minor graphical bug. After finishing the optional quest in Aridius' Estate... I'm stuck wearing the maid uniform. Dunno if that 'is' actually a bug, but I can't get rid of it and I feel like I should've switched out of it after finishing the quest.
Also, that event made me chuckle.
It is a bug, and it was fixed for v0.18. There was an issue with the Homing Stone teleport option being locked for a similar reason that was also fixed.
How much do I have to give up to Ambrose? What's the bare minimum?
I am asking because the only way I can get him to agree to anything is by giving him both the writ and the order. And I don't want to give both up if I don't have to.
Technically the bare minimum is nothing, but in order to reach that point, you have to do a lot of things over the course of basically the entire game, the most reliable/repeatable of which is completing events at Big Dick's Estate.
Where you are with that determines how effective each choice is when you're at the point of choosing to give things up.
Hello,
I tried getting trophie 13 myself, then looked in this thread
But no combination of actions gives me "extra" for Quinn and Teely, and in turn - no trophie 13
Anyone have an idea what to try?
Thank you
Quinn and Teely are optional, so while they do have bonus objectives, they aren't required for the trophy. You can also get the trophy for the first Freeze during the second and third Freeze if you meet the requirements later on.
But to actually answer the question - Quinn involves Alice, and Teely I can't remember off the top of my head. I want to say it involves Cumhaill, but I could be wrong.
Not sure if this has been asked before, but is there a list of option quests and missable content available? That'd be appreciated, doubly so if it came with info regarding availability conditions and start locations
, but not for the optional and character tasks.
Though very nearly everything can be revisited later on and done at any time during the game. There are very few exceptions that are gone forever if you miss them or that you can fully lock yourself out of.

It is very possible to break the game by using a save editor. I recommend people not try to cheat because it's likely to break things that I can't fix, not because I have some lofty "but my narrative D:" ideals that cheating ruins (though I do still think cheating ruins the point of playing a game like mine, but I digress).
It sounds like that's exactly what happened. I'm guessing you added Scrap Wood to your inventory to fix the floors instead of using the skip option Ella offers, so the rest of your Maids never rejoined your party, which is what the game is checking for to let you progress.
Unfortunately there isn't really a good way to fix that without reverting to an earlier save and either not cheating or using the in-game skip function.
It's near the ledge on the west side of the map, but to get where the hidden path is, you have to go around through a bunch of trees. Iris should give you hints once you start getting close if you move in the wrong direction.
I can't seem to figure out the Ritual. Its the second Haunt. I have Willow. I can get the first 2 steps done. But I guess I am too dumb to get the last. I hit the south Hex and nothing happens. I walk around the surface of the pattern counter clockwise multiple times and nothing happens. Please help.

You might be making the same mistake Bianca was when she got interrupted. I know it's easy to forget because it's been a while if you do it on the second Haunt, but her notes are wrong on where you need to start.
Either that or you're getting it right and then not going to the middle.
A Game Mechanic complaint.
When in the Ravenswood Estate part of the game. The text that appears when you interact with you stops yourself but not the shade. Had a lot of extra fights with the shade. Especially before finding the guest room.
Don't know if the shade is supposed to be frozen with you or not.

He's not meant to freeze with you.
There are no other enemies, so most of those items are a combination of set dressing and extra rewards that you can risk trying to grab before he shows up/catches you. Though you can also double back and grab them later.
That should only happen for a split second (if at all). If the sprite changes to a party member and stays that way, it's a bug.
If you can tell me exactly when that happened and if it was during an event (and which event) or just because you walked into a room (and which room that is) I can fix it for the next version.
It should fix itself the next time you go into any other room, though. If that's not happening, something really broke.

1. For the bug, I don't recall when exactly it happened, just that it was back during v0.17 and hasn't gone away since... Oh, right! Um, I think it was after i used the teleport option when talking to Teely. I was... confused why that happened. but, it kinda stuck.
2. ...I kinda hate the whole 'being chased by a freaking unkillable ghost' section. Not a fan of timed or chase sections.. at all. I mean, if I could just kill the thing that'd be one thing, but... just running like that is... kinda annoying when it's so damn fast. I can barely look around without that thing up my ass. The letters and unraveling the story is fun though. Gotta love that 'need an heir but can't conceive' drama.
3. When selecting 'service' with Willow in saferooms of Ravenswood Estate, a BJ scene plays when 'anal' is selected.
4. Being chased around sucked ass, but it was still an objectively cool, if sometimes cheap, mechanic and the lore was 'almost' worth being that annoyed. Good stuff though. On the plus side, again, cool mechanic that reminded me of a faster Nemi from RE3, the lore payoff was cool, and the Estate was just big enough for this not to be too irritating... and, i have poor sight, so that kinda worked against me. So, overall... the good outweighed the bad here. I... kinda wannna add a chase thing lke that.
Was it a pain in the ass to event?
5. So, you know how you have to slot in 2 of the red and blue orbs? ..Uh, well, I hadn't found the second red orb when I checked the thingy and... it, er... somehow still showed up as having being slotted in? Don't get me wrong, it helped clear the quest, but... yeah, I found the second red orb 'after' that, so now i apparently have a spare red orb in my inventory with that quest completed... Not gamebreaking so much as sequence breaking but still.

That sounds like it's the stealth mission bug. That was fixed for v0.18, but if you're already bugged, fixing it might be tricky.
You should be able to change your outfit in the Master bedroom of your home Estate, and that might fix it. Though that bug I think also turns off your Homing Stone teleport, which is why it's tricky. If you go back to Aridius' Estate and talk to Jenny to leave, that should fix both issues.

Yeah, I'm not the most happy with the implementation there. The speed options are really limited, so I can't slow him down any without making him excessively easy to avoid (so he'd only be annoying, or maybe annoying and boring, instead of annoying and actually threatening).
But it's a mechanic I wanted to try and include to see if I could make it function, and it does function. I certainly could've worked on it more and made it function better than it does, but I spent at least two full work weeks on getting him that far, and spending another however many weeks on it didn't feel worthwhile for what is otherwise a small portion of the game.
He also technically isn't unkillable.
Well, that's not good. Turns out there's multiple errors in there. And that was all copied from the Estate version of Willow, which means those options are going to be bugged there, too. And that they've been bugged for a while.
All fixed for v0.20.

That sounds like a problem. I also don't see how it's possible with the way the eventing is set up.
You're supposed to be able to take the orbs off their pedestals in case you're having trouble finding one of them so you can keep exploring, but everything is (or at least looks) correctly set to take the orb away if you put it down and doesn't give any extras if you pick it back up. No mistaken "+2" on one of the pickups, either.
There's even an extra command in the final event to take the orbs out of your inventory if you do manage to get there with an extra orb in your pockets (because at least with the red orbs, I'm pretty sure I left it where you only actually need one of them to get to the blue orbs and be able to clear the segment).
Unless you mixed up blue and red, because looking at the blue orb pedestals, there is an error with one of those that disables the wrong switch.
Fixed that for the next version.
Assuming you're on the first part, you need to talk to Bianca in the catacombs after starting the contest. If you've already lost at least once, she should also more or less explain what you need to do when you ask.

I'm glad you still liked it.
And I kinda talked about it above, but yes, it was a huge pain in the ass.

You cheat better than he cheats.

Yeah, it was the stealth mission bug and.... talking to Jenny doesn't do anything. Tried it a few times just now. So, er.. no teleporting via teleport stone and the options to change clothes in my room only lets me select between the cultist robes with hood up/down and maid uniforms in various colors. No option to jus tchange back into my normal clothes.
And yes, i'm playing v0.18.

If one of the costumes works, they should all work.
The default vest is in the left-most wardrobe.
If you tried that and it isn't working after selecting the option, do you mind sharing your save so I can investigate further? I can't recreate the issue.
