Anyone know how to get the trophy for the trial of water? I have no idea where to even begin. I have slid all over that ice. I have killed the guardian of water and everything. No idea what I am supposed to do. Only one of the trophies from the trials I am missing. Capture.PNG

What are the consequences for destroying the headstone for the Ruined Estate if there even is any? I was planning to destroy the headstone at the ruined estate to get resources for repairing the other estate, to then get access to the fishing village, but is it worth it?

Can I repair the estates on my own without destroying any estates, or would that make things difficult for me in other ways, or make certain things incompletable?

It is very possible to repair your estate without destroying any of the other estates. I personally don't destroy any estates. Depending on the estate you are talking about there are indeed consequences. Like in the case of the Nithercott and Beauregard estates it WILL kill any of the servants connected to the head stone. While in the case of the Edgerton estates you would definitely hurt Quinn's feelings even if she would never tell you that. Because those are her former masters.

In fact if you explore and take out all of the holds you can get the 6 headstone material needed to repair the first stage of your headstone even before leaving to see Baleflight. Unless you just want to RP a reckless bastard running around like a bull in a China shop there is no reason to destroy a headstone. As long as you explore and fight as many monsters as you can and raid holds the game throws a lot of headstone material at you.

Personally I'd prefer to not destroy any holds for the reason you mentioned, I'm just not sure if there's any actual ingame consequences that changes the game, cus otherwise that's just money laying there for no reason, which I can use to invest and get ahead of stuff.

On another note, can someone recommend me which 4-6 maids are best to play with? (I am replaying after having played a large part of the game on a scuffed version where you can't view your tasks, estate, powers, so I missed out on a ton and just winged it, but I do know of many maids that you can acquire).

I find that many outdoor battles can be ended quickly just by having 3-4 strong hitters, so the bunch of support characters I have doesn't seem useful in that scenario. In other longer fights I still found that most support characters are really weak compared to any hard hitters, but maybe I'm just playing it wrong.

Take Ella for example. Her heals are really weak, and the amount seem to vary. Her individual dispells seem lackluster cus when you're fighting a group of creatures, there's often multiple debuffs thrown out at the same time on multiple maids of varying kinds, so she can't really do anything then. And her hp is so low she very often just gets one-shotted even with theurgical? gear. A lot of characters actually seem to get nearly one-shot and often it gets very frustrating.

Do I need to target-gear my maids for each different fight, or is there ways to use my maids that I just missed that would make them stronger?

Any tips or tricks to make fights easier/smoother, and how to understand the mechanics better is much appreciated!

Personally all of the maids have their uses. Ella especially becomes crit machine at higher levels and with good equipment. My personal early game team is pretty much Melissa, Phoebe, Ella, and Jenny. Though any combo of maids can handle the early game. Mid game I prefer Willow, Bianca, Melissa, and either Kala or Katrina. Most of the time Katrina because she has an AOE attack she can spam at higher levels. Late game I tend to replace either Willow or Bianca with Odette once she unlocks incantation. Ivy and Summer are fun to use though and incantation is a very powerful skill set for a maid to have.

That said experiment with ALL of the maids. Get them good equipment as much as you can. I won't spoil it but there is a point in the game where you will be using all of the maids other than the ones you can only get in the late game. So make sure to level them all.

My team consists of 4 maids only: Pocket Book Kala, Bianca, Willow and Katrina.

Pocket Book to save Kala TP for wild sweep/wild barrage.
Bianca and Willow for Blind and Silenced.
Katrina is a flex spot but I used her for guard/provoke enemy and another sweep strike. You can change her for whoever you want.

OTK some of the enemies in the game but will most likely will end the fight in 2 to 3 turns. (up to the 3rd freeze in my current playthrough/possible the best OTK team in general) but quite squishy with my almost full attack set.

I have some questions regarding Trophy 13.

Can I complete it in my first freeze event, or do I need to wait until I have more maids?

Checking my completed task list I can see that each of my Current maids have "Extra Object Complete", which includes: Ella, Teely, Alice, Jenny, Willow, Emily, Melissa, Quinn, and Phoebe.

But I haven't gotten the trophy yet. Only thing I can think of is that for Quinn I have a faded star for "Win the Snowball Fight". Is that one required to complete it? If so, can I complete it at the next freeze event, or would I need to use an old save to go back?

You get all of the Freeze-related trophies as part of the events that end the Freeze rather than during the Freeze.
The Freeze also repeats (like the Haunt and Grow), so if you miss it the first time through, you do get multiple opportunities.
The number of required extra objectives also doesn't count the optional Maids, so if you miss one or two but got Teely and/or Quinn, you'll still get the trophy.

If you're not sure you meet that requirement or not, save before you end the Freeze so you have something to reload to.
Though based on your list, you'll get it.

How do I get trophy 19?

I've been running around there talking to the blue flames non-stop for 20+ minutes as well as chasing the chest around, and I'm not getting any new dialogue.
