Yea I have the white suite, and I can talk to the summoning circle which starts the threesome. But every time the 'ritual' fails, and I'm wondering if the whole summoning circle thing is all for the sake of seeing the threesome, or if there is a way to progress it
As far as I know there just for the threesome for now.

I'm gonna need some help with Ella's quest to look for her parents at Read's old estate. I've searched through the entire building and I cannot find anything, and as soon as I leave the estate Ella tells me there are more places to check. Where???

Is it bugged or am I just missing something?

Just walk around inside again. You probably missed a room somewhere. Just go room to room and make sure you aren't missing one somewhere. Ella will let you know when you enter a room if you already explored it. Not had any issues with that quest working myself though.

You were right, it was an empty bath room that I had to enter.

Anyone have any tips on what to level up using my silcrow? Is there any maid that gets really strong by having a particular stat boosted with Silcrow, or any maid that gets really strong at a certain level so that it's worth to spend Silcrow leveling that maid up asap?

I'd want to level them all but I won't get very far with my current funds. I'm currently pre-war and would probably want to strengthen myself as much as possible before that.

Also, any tips on saving all the villages during the war? Do I need to send all 3 of my groups to each location in order, or do I need to spread them out and send 3 squads to 3 separate locations? Any location I need to rush to/prioritize?

Thanks

The Haunt does weird things to Theurgy.

Move quickly. Spreading out is probably your best bet, but if you want to grind (since the war is the only time you have the option to do infinite battles) do that after liberating at least Ventire.
There's a post with more advice somewhere in the thread, but I can't remember at all which page it's on.

During the War you only need one squad near a location to enter it with the exception of Amaira estate. The Amaira estate requires all three near it. When entering the location you have your entire roster of maids and not just the squad you moved there. Entering a location does mean you lose out on moving your squads during that turn so plan accordingly. As far as keeping everyone alive I would recommend rushing for the estates and ignoring enemy squads personally. Them reaching your estate is not game over for you as long as you win the battle there. You have Melissa and Phoebe back at your estate. However Ivy and Iris if you have recruited her help out by giving your maids various buffs and the enemies debuffs. Plus Bianca's pet spider will poison them if you fought the secret spider boss in the attic of Lalita's former estate.

So between that and the various buffs they get I have never had an issue with Melissa and Phoebe holding down my estate while the others rush north to liberate estates and end the war quickly.

As far as maids to level goes it just depends on your play style. Personally I think all the maids are worth doing though you have to pick and choose obviously so just pick the ones that fit your play style. You honestly can't go wrong. Also make sure not to spend all of your silcrow because after the war you will gain a new maid after heading back to the wall to face Raven. As well as being able to unlock both Summer and Ivy as battle maids in your mindhold through their character quests. Both of them have incantation. Earth for Ivy and Water for Summer which come in very handy in some of the boss battles later in the game. On top of Odette being able to unlock ice incantation you can have almost an entire team of incantation users which I think is awesome. Incantation is very powerful at higher levels.

Before I forget to mention it here (again) - for everyone that's ever said they wanted a guide for this game, I put up a poll on Patreon.

Also SubscribeStar for anyone who can't use/hates Patreon:

It's mostly just an info-gathering poll, but if you want your opinion heard on the subject of a walkthrough, this is your best chance to make it heard.

Did you ever add an alternative way to acquire Iris? I read somewhere that you were considering adding an alternative way to get Iris for 0.23+ but can't see anything about it in the changelogs, so I'm thinking you didn't.
