When trying to access Diary, I get an error message. Any suggestions?

I love this game but the size is way too big. If you have a specific reason to use png, consider at least processing them trhrough tinypng or something similar, it will drop the size to about 40%-45% with no discernible loss of quality. I tested it with day5 and dropped the size from 222MB to 87MB and I can't see any difference in the game.

I appreciate the help, however I am not sure what you are referring to w/ "remove numbers + underscore." Unfortunately, my skill is limited to copying over/replacing and/or opening Notepad and changing lines/values (as long as I know what needs changed).

I will try to clarify what my problem is if it helps. The menu is working, click on Diary and icon appears in top left corner. Clicking on the Diary Icon results in an error:

after you have downloaded both files, you have to remove the numbers + the underscore in the filename
move both files to game folder\game and you are done

@the66 asked you to download two files. (event_sis.rpy and script.rpy)

Due to how the software that runs this forum works the two files you downloaded will be renamed on your local machine to something like 91273_event_sis.rpy and 91302_script.rpy

You need to manually rename those two files back to event_sis.rpy and script.rpy again before they will work with the game..

Thanks for the assist. Problem I was running into was getting the lines of code instead of files when 'downloading,' thus no numbers/underscoring showing up was confusing me.
