Well, in some ways, this might be the best NTR Game that's actually a game in quite a while. There's very few games that entwine the NTR with the gameplay the way this game does. That said, if NTR and/or dungeon crawlers aren't your thing, then the game might be fairly mediocre.

The story quality is unknown though. The trial skips too much of it in favor of introducing players to the gameplay mechanics.
Thanks man.

I just asked a question, just answer it. I haven't played the demo or anything.
It's from a one-man dev team. He's been making NTR games for 21 years. His last two are some of the better NTR games around (Leane 1 & 2.). Dev's kind of a madman perfectionist who just does what he wants, even if that means pulling some black magic code engineering like he did with this one.

He turned the KiriKiri engine (Generally meant for rudimentary VNs with no real mechanics) into a fully realized blobber. Which is a fucking coding miracle that he was able to pull that off at all in this engine, let alone how he managed to make it a decent blobber as well.

Its advertised as having over 40+ hours of content for like 15 bucks and a decent amount of replayability. (10 heroines, multiple guys trying to steal them, class/race system for different party builds each playthrough, marriage and post-marriage content, free mode, etc.)

Though, as a heads up, his story from the last one (Leane 2) was quite divisive. I won't get into that here, you can just go read Leane 2's thread for that.

Seems exciting, I'll try playing the demo. Thanks

Yes, that is sadly true. I wish more porn games like this existed, that are like real games with good gameplay.

I mean, there's various smut games with decent gameplay out there. Like Alien Quest Eve, or Night of Revenge, or Last Evil, or the Venus Blood games, or...

There's a lot of examples for various types of gameplay and whatnot if you look for them.

The issue is that there's very, very few NTR Games that properly mix up the NTR with the gameplay. Most just have basic choices of "do you want to see the MC get cucked?" and that's that. Or they're entirely linear stories. So on and so forth. Games in the NTR space that have quality are extremely rare, and that's honestly sad, because NTR is one of those genres that really lends itself well for non-standard game-mechanics, as this particular game shows.

I fear that by now he is too old and this will be his last work.
I have not found a creator who resembles him, and I suspect that no one will emerge to succeed him, partly because he consistently works alone.
I mean, there's one-man auteur shows that have twice the experience in the industry he does and they're still going. Like Kaga Shouzou, who I've mentioned in this thread before. He's the man that created Fire Emblem. 40 years experience, 25 as an indie after Nintendo kicked him out for disagreeing with a producer. Kaga's still making games. I believe he's working on a Nobunaga's Ambition type game.

When you get driven perfectionists that deeply care about what they make, they do this shit till the day they die even if they have to work alone. And assuming FutonPasta only started work on his first game out of high-school/college (As many Japanese indies do), he's probably in his 50s at worst.

Honestly, those first several games he made were probably made during highschool, so I doubt he's in his 50s. Probably in his 40s. Even if he keeps up this 5-8 year pace, he's still got time for a few more titles.

You even provided a concrete example, which makes me feel like I can think of something positive.
Thank you.
I've been thinking about the original Ghost in the Shell author lately, and I may have been too pessimistic.

There was this Sana game from Breast Mafia where you play a hero and your wife is the healer. It has a day and night cycle and when you do nothing with your wife while in town she will start messing around with the men in the town. And you can recruit companions that will use her to heal themselves and stuff in battle. I disliked the art style but the scenario and execution was so good that I still enjoyed it. I believe the success of that game was the reason why Technobrake essentially is recreating the same formula

Any word on potential merch? Did Leane 2 have anything physical to buy in support of the game? I'd rather pay (potentially much more) money for something tangible, since I am going to be pirating a bootleg English copy of the game anyway. Plus, my physical copy of Euphoria is kind of lonely in that dark corner of my shelf, it needs some company.

You should buy the digital version of the game anyway.
Game getting sales on dlsite helps its visibility.
Don't think any merch will ever come out, Leane games just had some manga.

If it's anything like the creator's previous works, it will be great. Leane 2 had me in tears while hearing the life story of the girl that saves you after washing ashore on the island.
I never played the rest of the game (crashed after reaching the next destination and couldn't be bothered to replay from start), but it's the one thing I still remember to this day.

Is there an overarching plot or is it more sandbox and you have unlimited time to just go do dungeons and mess with who's sleeping where in the inn?

There will be a plot in the full game (collect all the gems because reasons)
But for the demo they cut out a ton of important information so there's not much of a story yet

Based on the demo, his previous works, and no hard time mechanic in free or story mode. Yes, it's more sandbox; you even have access to devices and mechanics to prevent NTR from occuring to possible extend corruption indefinitely (locks for rooms, mercenaries you can toss at your guests/team to satisfy them, etc).

Now there were some time restrictions for quests; such as saving the knight girl from the orcs. As you had X days from toppling the kobolds otherwise you would fail to save her when you were doing the quest.
