Does anyone know if your equipment weight limit is tied to any specific skill, I would assume strength, or is it simply something that overall level dictates, i'm trying to make an ultra tank warrior with heavy armor but I keep hitting the equipment weight limit.

It's calculated based on the following code:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

It adds together 3 elements:
  1. The "muscle" value from the character's job(class)
  2. Any bonuses from equipment
  3. The character's "power"(strength/martial stat) minus 10
Then caps it at 999 as a maximum value.

The classes muscle values are as follows:

Can someone summarize reclassing for me ? Last demo I played was 2.X.
1. I make a (girl) character. Do i reroll stats now ? or not ?
2. Choose class > level class > and now I reclass for other class? If yes, at max level or as soon as I hit other class req. ?
3. What do I keep, what do I lose?
4. Is it worth it?

Why in the heck does the Pirate class have a higher limit than the Lord Class... Man, I knew the Dev was smoking something, but seriously. I can get the Blacksmith being equal to the Lord Class. But Pirates? Wut? That's the last class I'd expect to see handling heavy equipment...

In general, some of those limits feel like they're... strange...

I'm starting to feel like the balancing of this game is going to be very weird...

Is there a possibility that heavy weapons that only pirates can use will be introduced?
For example, something like an anchor with a chain attached to it...

1. You can reroll for more stats to give them on creation.
2/3/4:
When you reclass, all bonus stats given at creation are typically lost. There are special re-class options, that might let you keep the bonus stats? I'm not sure.

For example, if you get a Thief's Dagger, you can equip it in a Thief's hands and have them "Use" it. The dagger will be consumed and they'll become an Assassin, circumventing the Stat/Alignment requirements. I forget if you also keep bonus stats from creation. (There are a lot of items with hidden uses like this. Some of them positive, some detrimental. Cursed equipment usually has functions like this, but are usually negative as trade-offs for getting rid of them on the spot.)

The things you keep are HP pool, spells learned, and spell pool. So, it's possible to get someone to 9-spell pool in all levels of a type of magic, plus learned all its spells. Then transition them to a different class with better health/equipment-access than the magic class and they'll keep all their spells.

Unlikely, the class has shown up in his previous games and they never got stuff like that. If you want something silly, I recommend Bard. Bard is somehow the most broken class in the game in the demos. (Dunno if that'll change in the full game.) Which just makes them funnier.

Seriously, when someone ports the Male Bards mod from earlier demos (Bard is normally female-only), then you can just have everyone dual-wield Sleigh Bells and infinitely stunlock entire groups of 30+ enemies at once while also doing lots of ice damage to them. It's actually the most effective party build anyone came up with in the demos. It's really funny.

I hadn't thought of that strategy.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

Oh, I should also specify that skills don't carry over with reclasses. So, you can't keep Blacksmith's Repair skill when re-classing a Blacksmith to something else. Similarly, you could reclass a Lord to something else and you won't keep Lord's cover/protect skill.

Note that Blacksmith's repair skill is different from the repair spell. Repair spell you'll keep, repair skill you won't. They do the same thing, though. Blacksmith just gets unlimited uses. (As long as you have repair dust in your inventory.)

At most I would just reroll for like 10+ extra bonus points just to help out early. It's better to reclass because you keep all spells learn

Party consists of:
MC(1)
Heronies(1-2) - Lis+Dwarf Girl?
Heroines(5) - ones we create
Max(1)
Thats 8-9 party members for 6 slots. I wonder if I will have patience to jugle them or just skip some races.

My take on this is that...
1 - You are gonna have to keep a party member handy in the waiting room because its unlikely that we'll be able to go through the whole game without losing a party member to rival parties or bandits.
2 - You will most likely lose one of the heroines to NTR, so the dev assumes you will want to swap her out for an "untouched" heroine.
3 - Newgame+

So yeah, you're gonna have to be patient, and swap characters. There is an item in-game that allows you to level up several times in a single night. Save them for these occasions, so you don't end up with underpowered characters

The Dwarf girl gonna be a side character like the loli so she won't take up a slot

Dang that's crazy, what a blast from the past, I forgot I even made that mod in the first place lol.

Like was already said, there is very likely going to be a lot of character swapping in and out of the party due to story events. Not just stuff like girl getting kidnapped like losing the bandit fight, but something like party splitting in two with a rival party until X quest is completed. I expect it at least.

I am eagerly anticipating this game, but I do have some questions for the more well versed folks in here, if you happen to know the answer:

Will MC be completely unable to do anything at all with the heroines on terms of H content? In Leane 2 after completing the questline of an eligible love interest, MC was able to get it on with them in at least one scene, so wondering if there'll be any minimal instance of that in this game?

Also, if there even is any H content for MC, would it be accurate to say that for pregnancy content that's just exclusively NTR or at most an ending on terms of the MC being an involved party

Those are some good questions.
From my experience with this dev's previous games, I'd say there won't be much of a change. You'll get your introductory H-scene with your main love interest and maybe an ending H-scene. Pregnancy will be almost exclusively NTR oriented, since most of the time the MC of these games is either infertile or shoots 2 drops and then faints.

Now, I remember someone saying that in this particular title you would be able to have sex with several party members at the same time, so long as you did not commit to marrying a specific girl, but maybe I'm remembering incorrectly.

Also, irc in Leane 2, you could only have sex with 1 girl; then all the others would lose interest or become unconquerable (the affection meter would go away). There is a mod that allows you to romance all the girls in a single playthrough, but you can only watch the ending of the girl you romanced first or last. don't remember exactly.

Try sailing in bad weather conditions. Not that easy. Not sure why Pirates would be seen as weak when in fact they would be likely the strongest of the bunch. Like blacksmith in fantasy is seen as strong but in reality it's just technique and endurance. Warriors generally were rich nobles (=equipment was expensive) so they were not specially strong as they didn't do hard labor. But then archer/hunter would be surprisingly strong due having to constantly draw bows and that is actually not trivial. One of the hardest things in a battle and generally most ripped guys in the field. Most men could not draw a war bow, not alone do it time after another. It's so funny when that role in fantasy is given to slim men or women that can't even draw the bow (they would be much better with a sling). Just saying.

The weight limit isn't a function of how strong one is in this particular case, but a measure of their ability to fight when encumbered with a certain amount of weight. This is a combination of strength, endurance and even skill, because there's a certain measure of skill in operating when encumbered. A professional weight lifter will be stronger than a soldier in absolute terms, yet put them both in full tactical gear with a full back-pack, have them go at it in a fist fight, and the soldier will win in most cases.

Pirates may have a certain level of physical strength, but let's face it, trying to work on a ship in heavy plate or anything of the sort is literally suicide. One wrong move that gets you thrown off the ship, and you're almost guaranteed to drown, especially during a storm. Drowning is not exactly conducive towards working off tight straps that are meant to not be taken off easily. Basically, working as a pirate and pirate type skills are not conducive towards fighting effectively wearing a lot of weight. Could a pirate swing around a sword/mace/axe/whatever as well as a warrior or knight or something? Sure. Would they be as versed at doing it while wearing a bunch of armor? Definitely not.

All that said...

Not sure how much realism matters in a setting with literal magic, elves and other fantasy races, as well as gods that enforce honor duels and other such things... I don't think the realism argument holds much weight here, when there's no way to say how much realism even matters in this setting.

I am not sure if the state the pic is base on is up to date with the current game state. I guess it is not.
I suspect the girls will allow sex with MC after dating and doing a quest (chain) for them.
