The MTL from this thread and Sugoi's aren't super great. There's incorrect pronoun usage in both patches that make for at best an irritating read and at worst down right confusing.

Can someone test this on winlator for me? When I play it the text lags a lot and I don’t know if it’s my device because it is pretty outdated or if its my setting. I can play other VNs pretty much perfectly but not this one for some reason.

Most likely you're running startup.exe instead of mamahataimanin.exe.
The latter one is the crack that you're supposed to run. If you don't have it then most likely your antivirus decided to remove it.

the comment directly above yours has the answer to your question. You don't want to run that file anyway, so you should probably ignore that one and check the file you should be running.
