Man of the House Troubleshooting Help

didn't work,
every other sound works fine over digital output, but a while ago i wanted to try Anthem beta, had the same problem, sound only worked on headphone and hdmi...
use win10 prof, all newest win and driver updates

Instead of using Digital Output, go into the Sound applet and in the "Playback" tab, choose "Speakers" and set that to default. Then check the balance.

EDIT: The problem is definitely hardware related. It's most likely a device not configured correctly or not enabled. I've not heard of this type of problem being reported in the past. Usually it's video related.

Windows Update is notorious for messing up hardware using their drivers instead of the drivers provided by the manufacturer. If you think that to be the case, I'd recommend uninstalling the drivers for your sound card and getting them directly from the manufacturer.

just looked in win device manager, under audio video gamecontroller it shows driver is realtek 6.0.1.8158

but below at digital output it says driver microsoft, maybe thats the catch, but will look at it tomorrow, time to sleep in europe ^^

However, do you have Citrix installed on your computer?

No i don't have Citrix, infact, i cant run any Unity game i dont know why

If you haven't already, I'd recommend checking for updates for your operating system. It sounds like you're missing some updates.

Also, make sure you're using DirectX 12 (if you're running Windows 10).

Press the Windows key and the R key to bring up a "Run" dialog box. Type: dxdiag and click OK.

just tried some other unity games, and its the same, no sound on digital output, and again, hdmi and headset works fine, so i think its an issue with win realtek and unity, since some update, did unity had a newer update? because a while ago everything worked fine on the digital out

There was an update to the Unity engine around when v0.8.3 was released late last summer, but it would have affected DirectX, not the audio.

Similar to what Emris experienced above I'm experiencing the same freeze+crash for animations in the new update as well. I can roam freely but the sec there's a scene with the speed dial turning up I get a freeze.

Have you:

1. Checked your video card manufacturer's site to see if there updates to the video card driver?
2. Checked to insure you have the latest version of DirectX (v11 for Win7, v12 for Win10)?
3. Installed the K-Lite codec pack?
4. Checked for and installed updates for your operating system?

Game is not opening for some reason.I tried every option in launcher but it still doesnt open.It stays in task manager for 2-3 secs and closes itself with without giving any error
(I use Windows 10)
Update:I reinstalled it again,now it shows a black screen for 3-4 secs before crashing.
Update 2: Nevermind,i fixed it with a weird solution. (I opened game with Windows 95 compatibility mode)

What's the path to the game? Does it have any odd characters in it? Is the directory writable?

I just started this game and I am not able to save. The 100% game seems to load just fine, but I can't save into the empty slot or overwrite it either. It gives and error message about not using special characters in the name of the save but I am not. I tried it with only numbers, only letters etc. Win 10, and there doesn't seem to be any problem with folder's permissions.
