Because dev realized what his storytelling system doesn't fit sandbox mechanics like pregnancy and has to be bounded to story.
There are no professional gamedevs and such things may happen.

played the update. Albeit I like the choice variations, maybe it is me that hoping Abaddon will do stick only to justice and corruption route only in MS II. Too many choices that makes the story disjointed and confusing for some parts. But still love the game tho
