Just don't view the HP as total HP but at stage HP you need to reduce to get to next stage. If they have 3 stages, total health would simply be the HP for each stage combined. Probably easier to do it like this for cutscenes & dialogue instead of a trigger when health is reduced to 1/3 total.Some rare enemies or bosses might do that or they might transform and change the fight completely (like the end boss of Elden Ring), but in MS almost every second enemy does this and most of the time they will gain a slightly different attack, if even that.
