I'd blame "Milking his Patrons for 7 years" as a half decent reason why it went from a semi realistic world to full on almost Isekai territories ? XD

Honestly, I used to think this was one of the best games out there – at least up until version 0.33. And well, Manila herself was a big part of that charm. But then came the fighting system and… yeah, it really started to go sideways. Feels a bit like those superhero TV shows – first two, maybe three seasons are great, then someone decides to add a multiverse, and suddenly you’ve got five different Manilas running around.”
