Yes, because this is a side quest. Otherwise you won't be able to unlock casual sensual. On Saturday you go to that clothes store and Allison's already there. You buy new clothes(Casual Sensual) and then you can use them all the time. At the beginning of the game, you don't need them, that's why they aren't active.

Sorry, this is not a side quest. You'll get a message from Allison to meet her at the store.

I guess you'll have to. Otherwise, you won't be able to do some side quests without these clothes. Just remember the 13th day(Saturday) in the game. As soon as you wake up, you will receive a message from Allison
