I didn't even get around to playtesting! ...I mean, it's just new Champions, ideally I never see them because they're still so goddamn lethal if mishandled.
Manor Alpha 22 Preview 3
Windows 64-bit -
+ Added Nao's champion form, the good succubus. She has a high social focus, and medium magic and stealth focuses
-> She has a special combat ability that allows her to try and charm a target. While charmed, they will attack their allies instead of enemies
-> She has a special goal during which she will wander around seducing characters, including maids
--> If she succeeds they will go have sex, and she will gain evidence during the act/from pillow talk
--> A partially successful seduction will distract her target, and increase the chance subsequent seductions succeed
--> Characters who have sex with her will have any succubus marks removed
-> Like regular succubuses, she has a passive arousal aura
-> She will commune with hidden succubuses opportunistically
+ Fixed stealth champions trying to pick barricaded doors
+ Fixed maids telling characters to stop removing barricades on doors
+ Fixed stealth champions sometimes causing crashes when deciding to hide
+ Fixed a crash that could occur when champions leave

Pfft, okay.
Manor Alpha 22 Preview 4
Windows 64-bit -
+ Added Lotta's champion form, the outlaw. She has a high brute focus, and medium stealth and social focuses
-> She has two special combat abilities; rapid fire and suppressing fire. Both makes six attacks at half combat skill that can deal at most one wound (effectively, guards can take three shots and others two if unwounded); rapid fire against a single target and suppressing fire against random enemy targets. After either, she must reload before becoming able to attack in this way again
+ Kazuto's champion form (dark elf noble) can now transform characters into dark elf minions and will do so when she believes she has a good opportunity. She has a maximum of two
+ Fixed a crash occurring when observer marks from a character who has left the manor observe things
+ Fixed some card layout issues caused by hidden champions
+ Talia's champion form (elf noble) can now summon temporary magical gear that lasts for a few hours. The armour protects against incapacitation once, and the weapons provide stat boosts (and in the case of the wand, the ability to use the magic stat to attack)
+ Fixed a crash sometimes occurring in some champion character seeking goals

It's a really interesting game, most of the time i don't understand what i am doing. But somehow i manage to have fun anyways, i wasn't even interested in the sexual aspects of the game, just strategizing and trying new things out is fun :)

...No? I don't see it, at least.
Plus, the characters here come from three distinct sources: House of Pandemonium, the Unity remake, and original content. I could buy the original being inspired from When the Seagulls Cry, but not all of them.

Can someone give me a low down on what the champions are ? I was wating for the police to get fleshed out, as they were kinda annoying (and didnt make much sense on how they were handled). But seems the devs moved on to champions ?

Is there a guide on how not to suck?
As a new player, its a little daunting.. THere is much to learn about the manor. But if I had to give some advice.. Observe who you get for your first 7 (I thinki defualt is 7 visitors) Anyone who has an combat of 12-14 would be the most dangerous to you. There good targets to go for first, and bringing them onto your side as maids, and their combat stat remains.. However, this isnt an instant win in combat, There more likely to win, I have seen 14 combat, fail to 6 combat if you get unlucky. But generally getting the high combat visitors on your side early makes you better off if things get messy.

Confiscate any tasers ASAP if you see a guest find one. It becomes a very good weapon for you maids, I usually give it to Katanashi for her self defense. I use it as emergency, or a high combat visitor to deal with. Or if you get a high combat stat bee girl, those can be tough.

Sleep pills in food is generally the best way I go about spiking food. And Succubus's are actually pretty good at calming guests while they sleep. It can buy some extra time before they act. Lowering the leaving concern is pretty useful.

After using (by default) 2500 mana, a Champion from the Heroes Association will be dispatched to investigate.
They have superhuman stats, special abilities, and walk through the gate with all the knowledge of how to fight the Manor. They are also immune to most of the abilities you have against visitors.
They will look for evidence that the Manor is hostile, by interrogating servants, looking for monstergirls, and finding evidence of dangerous magic.
Every six hours or so, they'll use magic to check in with the Association and confirm they're okay. Missing the check-in will cause a party of heroes to descend upon the manor to end your day.
Theoretically, if they don't find anything, they'll leave like Police... but I've never seen that happen.
What actually happens is they find enough evidence, attempt to call for backup (this fails) and then try to flee the manor to call reinforcements.
If you defeat a Champion and transform them, they'll transform into a normal visitor while dropping their Champion Item, the source of their powers. If a visitor picks it up, they'll transform into a Champion and immediately go hostile (thankfully without the knowledge) so you need to Seal the item. You can then Seal it again to delete the item for some Contribution.
...Honestly, don't bother and just teleport the manor whenever the Mana meter gets too high.

So you cant even use the champion artifact for yourself, as the spoils of war for all the trouble and risk it was worth... Lame. So another annoyance. It would of been cool if you could meld the artifact into a maid, or even into Katanashi for her to gain a 2nd form . It could be like corrupting the artifact into her via the ritual room for some unique abilites/transformation. but oh well.

Reminds me of the fun I had with House of Pandemonium.

With some help from this thread, I was able to get a win on normal mode, though there's definitely more to the game to explore, and I still haven't tried extended mode.

Wait, there is a win condition? I though it was just infinite mode.

It looks like we have a lot of powerful champions running around now. At this point the author should start expanding on traitors and the corruption system, as traitors have little use currently.

- Traitors are considered non-threats by champions and to be protected. Remove the counter traitor powers and make traitors the ultimate weakness of champions.

- A traitor can be assigned to shadow a champion. They use social stat to form bonds (flatter them), then depending on the champion other stats to corrupt them, such as talk about how much stronger they are now to corrupt enforcers, magical power to succubi types, etc. These have greater success with higher bonds and associated stat, but there is no fail state. There are diminishing returns for assigning more than one traitor to a champion.

- Champions at full corruption become fallen and work for the Manor instead. They don't actually stay in the manor though, they get sent for either contribution or to infiltrate the HQ of the champions. They gradually weaken the champions sent out in various ways as more of them infiltrate.

- Secret maids are worse at all this and have a chance at exposure, which counts as strong evidence and prevents them from continuing to influence them.

- Since champions and police use similar systems, it makes sense to use traitors against police as well, though they probably should not work quite as well. Corruption at max should still turn cops against the system though and allow for infiltration or contribution.

- Nerf teleport manor so that champions can track the manor to some degree, at least until a champion is dispatched to visit.

These changes would make traitors a great counter to these powerful champions and give a reason to recruit them.

So what to do next? Send all the maids into stasis to accumulate mana and train them in turns?
How to increase magic and how to survive more effectively?

So what to do next? Send all the maids into stasis to accumulate mana and train them in turns?
How to increase magic and how to survive more effectively?
There are two ways to get more mana per turn.
The first is to have more maids. Default capacity is 4, you get more by upgrading the Maid Quarters. Every maid over capacity will consume 2 mana per turn instead.
The second is to get Alarunes. You can plant a Maid using the Fertilizer in the Shed for 25 mana, or create a Beautiful Flower in the manor for 30 mana that guests will usually pick up. Once you have alarunes, they can infect visitors with seeds, so you don't need to keep spending that mana. They too have a capacity cap, and you can increase it by upgrading the yards. Going over capacity disables all the Alarunes in that yard from generating mana, and their stealth starts to fail.

You can get more maximum mana capacity by upgrading the Ritual Room and Master Suite.

As for surviving more effectively, you can summon a Succubus for 30 mana by signing that contract. She can get people when they're asleep and use Dream Magic to make them calm and plant a Mark on them to make them horny. She can then follow people who are marked, and when they head back to their room to masturbate, she turns them into another Succubus. Again with the caps, it's increased by the Ritual Room. Going over causes random succubi to enter stasis, breaking stealth.

You can also sell servants by arranging pickup from the front yard (Except Succubi who can just leave on their own from the Ritual Room). You'll get Contribution in return, which can be used to upgrade rooms, buy useful items from the shop, and transform Maids into more specialized forms.

You also seem to have ignored the Diffuser and Radio the game starts you with. The former can be used to increase one of a variety of needs over time in the room it's placed for 5 mana every ten turns, and the Radio prevents people from talking with more then one person per turn in its room, for 5 mana up front (or for free if you have someone manually switch it on).

In the specific save, the major problems are that you have only 1 maid with eight in stasis, seven downed visitors in the shed with Katanashi with no way to transform them before they get back up (You can dress downed or Deep Sleeping visitors in maid outfits to turn them into Trainees for no power cost), an unsigned Succubus contract, an unused Fertilizer despite having spare maids, didn't use the starting items, have a ton of items lying around for guests to find (Most grey items can be destroyed for a small power cost, and all items can be Sealed by Katanashi allowing your maids to use them for 50 a pop), and you're about to be slammed with a Police Raid without the mana to Teleport the Manor clear or the firepower to defeat the Raid.
Might be salvageable by waking your three worst maids to Consume for Power to get the teleport off before the Raid hits, and sending your one active maid to grab the maid outfits in the Laundry and run them to Katanshi to get the visitors before they wake up, but... you're better restarting.

Again!
-Awh, shit, didn't notice this was a preview. ...Ignore my flag, please?
Manor Alpha 23 Preview 1
Windows 64-bit -
+ Maids that are in a tempt idle mode now redirect highly corrupt characters to the master if it hasn't been recently attempted, and don't try to tempt characters that are guaranteed to accept deals
+ Fixed a few selection menus that didn't sort room names
+ Added 'explain all missing' interaction that sets a maid to follow a cop and explain all missing characters the cop is investigating
+ Maids can now ask characters to leave. Champions won't leave unless they have been seen doing things they shouldn't as guests a few times (the 'bad guest' counter is now shown as a tracker). Misbehaviour also increases the chances of convincing visitors and cops to leave
+ Succubuses now wait for visitors to be out of the room before starting to leave the mortal plane
+ Made a tweak to move orders reduce confusion about some behaviour, may have side effects
+ Hopefully fixed champions and dark elf minions deciding to stay put, visible, rather than hide
+ Characters can now only have items stolen once an hour -> Getting caught stealing now adds bad guest points
+ True sight can now be refreshed on revealed characters
+ Hopefully fixed a card positioning issue that occurs if characters are hidden due to their revealed (true sight) timer expiring
+ Fixed a crash when destroying observation bugs that are not held by characters
+ Fixed golems/dark elves not being valid to attack
+ Hopefully fixed a crash when confiscating inactive champion bugs
+ Added an order for maids on boxed characters that sets the maid to move all boxed characters in the same room to another
+ Added an order for succubuses to follow a target and repeatedly use a chosen power
+ Fixed a crash occurring when champions decide to bug maids via a goal, but there are no maids present
+ Fixed champion bug target goal not selecting characters that aren't already bugged
+ Fixed a bug that likely broke characters gaining horniness around good succubuses
+ Added Samuel's champion form, the decadent noble
-> Unlike other champions, if he finds enough evidence or finds some evidence and is done investigating, he will instead head to the master to request a bribe. Depending on how much fun he has had (corruption build up), he will ask for a bribe (if he's had enough fun, he'll just leave). The current request amount is shown in place of corruption
-> Having sex increases his corruption, as does giving items with temptation values (that aren't cursed) as gifts
-> If you refuse to bribe him he will react like a normal champion
-> The fallen noble replaces the 'spend 500 contribution' option when a champion first approaches - instead you may guarantee that he investigates
+ Fixed odds shown when propositioning
+ Added Josephine's champion form, the dominatrix
-> She can 'domineer', which will cause present characters to volunteer information if she succeeds a social roll against them; this includes maids (but the roll is more difficult)
-> She will offer bondage sessions to characters; those who accept may provide evidence during the session
-> In combat, she can disarm weapons and can tie up targets directly instead of needing to incapacitate them first (this will happen when she attacks)
+ Fixed champions trying to intimidate unconscious characters opportunistically
+ Visitors seeking answers from manor staff about why a character is acting weirdly or suspiciously will no longer share their concern with the character in question
+ Hopefully fixed cases where maids carrying out directly ordered player actions that are multi turn would agree to guide characters even though they will ignore them to finish their current action

If only we could corrupt champions to our side, then all these champion mechanics would be perfect. Right now it just sends back or fights.
