Progress with the character stories. Talk to them, build up the "points" and then "story" will unlock those rooms.

Just need to progress by talking to characters.

Talk to the characters, then continue with the story.

You can progress without the master key. Or subscribe to his Patreon for the key.

It's bugged man. If you load up a save all doors are always locked. You cannot talk to characters to progress anything because the rooms they are in i.e any room is locked. At every time slot.

I didn't have that issue, but I think there may be some save file issues.
Best to create a new game I think, or see if someone is willing to share a save.

Guys, I’m back. I spent about four days in bed with a fever, but I’m feeling much better now. The issue with locked rooms and the save/load bug was in the old 0.0.5 version. I actually released a hotfix in Discord four days ago, right before I got sick. You can check the announcements channel for more info and grab the fixed build in the download channel.

You say to people "You have to talk to the others in the house" but missed the part where nobody can leave the bedroom to talk to people and open up the house.

But seeing as an update was released today it might have fixed this issue everyone is having.

Younger Gwen is iconic, just by silhouette alone she is more recognizable too, meanwhile older Gwen is pretty much just normal looking with the only trait similar to her former self being her hair and eye color (even her personality wasn't the same) so for me it's not that surprising that people keep using it even in situations like this. Ideally someone would make a new design based on the younger one rather than just using the older one (this one already does a better job than most by making her not using the same clothes but still have the iconic blue to contrast with her hair)

I don't get this point since the fact that the creator changed her look contradicts your point in this context. Like why not just use the older version at that point if you're going to change it since changing it would make her "less recognizable" going off your logic. And apparently they changed her name not saying that makes a big difference but it does make a difference. But for the rest of what you said it kinda sounds like just growing up, which I'd assumed the ppl consuming the content would know about. Also ppl have used lesser known characters in comparison to others and made them Popular by doing that.
