It's more of an exaggeration on this situation and a dumb thought i had that i found funny. Reading through the past comments apparently our dev got married, then declared he's taken a brake. Which then led to my imagination to take place to make it feel more simple. Unless someone wants to give detailed info about the situation, this is what i shall believe

You know it makes sense that way. I've seen a couple moments (not necessarily in the game department) where they've said they're coming back but to three years later have not done a thing. So until he does make a new release i say it should remain abandoned, even if our dev is showing developments.
Also there haven't been any more updates from the developer since the announcement of his return so i'm guessing it's been abandoned again
Remember that right now we have several problems going on right now IRL and it appears he now has a family right now. If a problem had occur in his life I'm pretty sure between this porn and his family he'd pick his family. I know i would.
Yeah, i remember that he said somewhere that the main reason he abandoned it was because he was diagnosed with stress so he's clearly got a few bigger problems to deal with before returning to the game, which is pretty understandable.
Games only get "abandoned" tag removed when they actually release update.
Perhaps a better way to put it is
It's somewhere in the settings in-game. Not a big help i know but it's somewhere where you can start.
IIRC games are labeled as abandoned after 3 months with no new updates (i.e. no official news about development).
