I really like the style and basic gameplay. Just wish there was more to it. More girls, more animations, more customization... Has this dev made another game?

This thing shows instead of loading my save
Same, lol. Does anyone else have an issue with corrupted saves?

Nope, Imperial Gorilla has been radio silent ever since the release. But you can try Monster Black Market and .
if you particularly like the animations there's an animation demo made by the artist.
if you like pixel animations in general try browsing the Kurai-Ya catalogue

Speaking of recommendations, I also recommend Isekai Parlor Simulator.

Looks very promising. Wish that it had a Linux version, but I can possibly run it under Wine. Will there be a follow-up?

Wat.
...Very little about the inability to swap jobs hinders reaching goals. Outside of Madness, you always put Purples in Showrooms (plus one of each flavor for events), Pinks in Security, and Greens in Service. It only really matters for the Blues and Reds you buy before you have the tech, income, and/or story progress to afford the advanced models.
...What, you want to hotswap people into Security and not have to maintain a standard fighting force? Be serious. It'd just be convenient and make sense to be able to, and just annoying that we can't.
Also, Black Market? If we're talking Monster Black Market, sell tentacle eggs=auto-win. It wasn't even that difficult before the DLC, but now it's just in easy mode.
good to know that you didn't even play black market, the game that monster black market takes inspiration from
both black market and marionette have a high scaling in points in order to check if you are minmaxing or else you get to fail and restart your whole save from zero, if you try to reload a save where you did not minmax you'll pass stuff with minimal points making recovery extremely hard and you will most likely fail, marionette has it extra with the androids having specializations unlike BM which is more on the girl's "experience" that you can increase slowly if you don't feel like replacing them and it's capped, if you slap a A tier module on a red she gets stuck with a D grade but a purple becomes a A.
oh and mbm doesn't have that insane scaling even on the hard difficulty, you can easily beat the game by following the basic pointers with both the girls and the monsters without the need to minmax and you don't even need to bother with the succubus since this design is from before the DLC was added, you only need to be attentive to the slaves once their birth limit hits the cap/they get sexual infection in the brothel since that is the game's way of telling you that you should rotate them, DLC added stuff more for people that developed fondness for certain slaves and scenes with the girls that were needed.

Having played Black Market, I did not find it particularly demanding. I had, like, 1 of each kind of brothel room in the above-ground portion.

Try Isekai Parlor Simulator. It's a fantasy-themed brothel management game.
there is the lord of isekai brothels and monster club bifrost too.

it has the same multiplicative debs but on higher difficulty your girls get more stamina damage and can be easily killed off especially if you hire the attendant (which i believe it's shino in mad island but it does not explain the boob increase), you get higher suspicion rates too in order to get police occifer visits since they deal a ton of stamina damage and you don't get money for servicing them, marionette pulls mostly on the multiplicative debts but it tries to offset by giving different ratings to androids, you are supposed to sell them and buy a better version at a specific timing or else you won't break even and will fail meeting the quota due to high tier android maintenance cost, same thing for raids but they failed with the gun part, going beyond sniper+rifle is bound to get you to fail in the last wave, i tried S tier knife and smgs and lost every single one of my androids no matter how hard i micromanaged them, it's just too little raw damage to kill off most enemies.

I think he means Black Market that is without monsters. It is not on this site, probably due to being too mean to 0-year-old girls. Okay, it does have monsters, but they're wearing human skin.

Prostitution is the whole point of the game. It's all about building a cyberpunk brothel.
Is this a joke question?
is having your feelings touched avoidable?

The game does a good job with the cyberpunk vibe, it's depressing but in a semi-satisfying way, and very lonely feeling. Wish the true ending was a bit longer or had a happy CG, you get a new location/scene kinda for the normal end and kinda get one for the good end but not for the true end and instead you're left with black screen and 2 lines after the convo. Also, for some reason elevators are the most durable objects in the future.

Isekai Parlor Simulator is good stuff.
Charm Commerce could be good, if the developer knew anything about interfaces, gameplay and user experience.
Monster Black Market is good stuff, and the developers are working on a new game, Project R. MBM's clones, such as Goblin... Brothel and Mudblood Prologue, aren't as good. And also in 3D, which doesn't work well.
You wouldn't find My Slave Brothel on this site, but it is also a brothel simulator. It's not that good, but at least it's not as much of a chore as Goblin... Brothel.

Marionette Guide

So decided to write a simple guide to the game. It won't cover everything, but tries to give helpful information. This mostly applies to normal, though I'll share how I beat madness with cheated money and tech, (money doesn't help during the optional final fight).

Basic tips:

- Rank from best to worst goes S -> A -> B -> C -> D -> E -> F
- Girls are named by hair color in this guide.
- Girls are best used in their specialties, purple for play, green for operations, pink for security.
- Guests are lazy, they take the girl to nearest unoccupied playroom most of the time.
- Operations staff are needed to get tech points, use blues until you get greens.
- If there is no girl in operations, and a customer needs service, the service request simply doesn't come in, robbing you of possible tech points.
- Build a single security station on each floor, violence disrupts floor operations until dealt with.
- Up until about midgame you just need a single red in security on each floor. They work well with sniper rifles when you get them. If need be remember to move them.
- You can move security girls, and by holding ctrl, can select multiple ones and move them as a group.
- Melee sucks by endgame, save the melee tech tree for absolute last.
- Techs are a bit complicated, but generally you should prioritize the money making ones first, then operations upgrades, then security last, but you can't just ignore any tree besides melee, so spread the points out.
- Have each greenroom girl equip at least one body/personality mod, and try to vary them. Midgame you might want to have them equip two, I do one body and one personality.

Layout:

- Early game, money is tight, and maintenance is expensive. Use 4-5 greenroom girls (blues and one red), 2 in operations (blues), and a red with basic taser in security on each floor.
- Use the floor with your control room as a maintenance and operations room initially.
- Put greenrooms between playrooms and as close to elevators as reasonable.
|xox OR x|ox = | elev, x play, o green
- The starting position for the elevators is fine, just build up as needed.
- You will only need a single maintenance room for early game, two total in midgame, and a few additional small ones late game.

True Ending:

- You need a purple in a playroom by day 9, and a pink in a playroom by day 18.
- Build at least one bar when available.
- Keep at least one of each type of girl in the playrooms.
- One green is needed in operations, and one pink in security.
- There are different day requirements, but there's plenty of time besides the purple and pink mentioned first.

Madness Final (optional) Fight:

- Save the game at least a few hours before the fight.
- Elevators can't be breached. (from my observations)
- Security rooms are resistant to being breached. (not impossible though)
- Move the elevators to far left or right.
- Move the control room on opposite end.
- Get all pinks in security.
- You may wish to cover the entire control room floor with elevators (or security rooms), though this may not be necessary.
- If you use the previous trick, no elevators except on far left/right besides control room floor.
- Out of 30 security girls, arrange for about 12-15 to have assault rifles, 10 uzis, and 5-8 snipers.
- All girls should have S tier guns, heavy body armor, and tac googles.
- When fight starts, immediately move all security to control room floor. (use CTRL and click and drag)
- Basic idea is to create a shifting front line, moving back towards the control room as injuries mount.
- In case of breach on control floor, move girls AWAY from opening in small clusters.
- Move girls back as they get badly injured on the front line, either individually or in very small groups.
- You may need to slow down the game, but you should be able to win. If you get a breach right next to the control room, load a save from before the attack and use the elevator or security room tactic.
Can you please share a screenshot of your last "battleground", I manage to legimately reach the final battle on madness difficult but it seems impossible...
