VN Ren'Py Mary Goes to Summer School [Ch.1 v0.4c] [DimS40]

I'm stuck. No idea how to use the side bar to dress Mary. Whatever I do she still is in her pj's saying she needs to wear the uniform Sandy brought. How to select? Hovering over an item changes the mouse cursor but clicking or dragging has no effect. The ugly pj's wont disappear.

to strip clothes drag them to the right side.
press and hold the left mouse button while you move the artlcle of clothing.

click (left mouse button) the symbol for what category of clothes you want to put on.
the main field / right side shows all your choices.
click one of them, that item of clothing will move to your character.

repeat with other categories.

some categories are: headwear, accessoires, top, buttom, legs (for nylons), bra and panties.

I'm sorry to see that you have a problem with my game. It must something specific to your system as I have tested it on two different systems of my own and it works as intended. Also it works fine for many other players. The only reason I see for that animation to freeze is that the auto key repeat does not work...

press the bag icon at the lower left of the UI and then drag the key onto the opened slots

The game has been around for a year now, it's better to wait another year until it becomes interesting

Nice update. Now this is just a personal preference of mine. But...since it has been awhile since I played it, I really don't remember all the "proper" attire for school/casual/chores. It perhaps would be nice just to have separate buttons for "SCHOOL"/"CASUAL"/CHORES that would automatically select and wear the proper clothes for each situation.

But other than that, I had no other gripes about the update.

Played right through from the start today, a little rough around the edges but developing well.
One thing that almost had me close it at the start is the jittering opening screen, is that just me or intentional? If it's intentional it really isn't pleasant to look at.
