I've been considering making a much shorter game with Gumball. But, for now, no second project is in the works. The re-used asset bit is... Complicated...
The dream sequences were originally going to be a second project entirely, but I decided to combine the two into a single project, which is when I came up with the multiverse idea.
My main writing inspiration is cult cinema, and I think the story makes more sense if you view it through that lens. It's supposed to be something that you show to your friends and say "Check this out. Here's a prostitute made of pizza, there's a secret here with a creepy love story with a pig."
It is my first visual novel, but more importantly, it is a first draft. What I plan to do is go back and edit it later when it's all done to make it a bit more coherent.
Is it beastiality if they're both animals and never actually have sex?
Lol, I actually got the inspiration for that bit from this crazy Asian lady in Vancouver who used to post classified ads looking for a man. Her posts were long and rambly, basically amounting to "You should date a nice Asian woman like me who will be your devoted servant and never cheat on you, unlike white women who all fuck their dogs while their husbands are at work. That's why they want big dogs!"
It always stuck with me that someone could be that deluded and think it's completely normal. That said, I basically have something similar to schizophrenia and am prone to delusions so, I get it. I understand not really knowing what you're doing, why you're doing it, and feeling detached from reality. But, at least I'm aware of my mental instability.

The foot fetish is kind of combined with a mommy/daughter breastfeeding thing. So, basically, lesbian threesome without penetration, sort of. It's important for later in the story that Manko doesn't get penetrated, so, I felt like I had to come up with something a little different. I actually got the idea from a YouTuber that's obsessed with Pokemon feet. During one of my delusions a month or two ago I actually thought "If I add a foot fetish thing, some powerful executive at Netflix might get curious about it and reach out to me."
I'm thinking of adding some frottage later on, maybe you'd be more into that? Though, I think that I'm about to write what might be the most disturbing arc of the whole story, before I wrap up the main story and start focusing on the zombie-apocalypse side-story that I just haven't been motivated to continue since, like, October.

I'm thinking about doing a short 3D game next. I've been curious about experimenting with a standard porn game with 3D models. It might be cool to make a dating sim type thing with some of these characters, and make it much shorter. At the moment in the main story, I've just started a very dark arc, and my friend is creating some character art for Mr. Plushie.

Mr. Plushie gets introduced in this update, and I did a little rant about gay representation and gender identity stuff in the devlog if anyone cares enough about my thoughts to explain to me why everything I say is wrong.
I'm getting my computer back from the repair place tomorrow, so I can hopefully start working on the VN again.
I added Manko's mom, and removed Coffeezilla and Cancer Mouse from the VN. The latest version is on the Itch page.
