The shoes aren't black they are grey and burgundy stripe.Honestly the only shoes that I can see that even remotely fit are Devon's, with the black top and white bottom. Can't be her though, we were just with her in the classroom in the scene before, unless she ran there and muff dived straight under the desk.Nothing like playing an update and constantly looking at everyone's feet.

Was that the dean on the call with MC dad at the beginning do you think? She got wind that her hubby was on the rampage for some old score, so dad tried to exfil the family but got intercepted? Hubby didn't really seem jealous, so it'd have to be some other reason. Maybe to allow a take over of the Pink Box?

My guess is that the whole "You'll only get your inheritance if you go to college" is bullshit cooked up by all of the people conspiring against the MC, to steal his inheritance. We see the dean and the nurse from the hospital with the MC's lawyer a few times, they are cooking something up.

The lawyer would likely lose their license if not earn charges unless she was very careful. But it seems credible she has a game within the game of the inheritance.

Yeah the nurse who somehow knew the name of the MC's ex (Jenn) even though he didn't say her name. We then see her in the lift where the MC farts and then leaving the lawyers office when he goes there with Devon.
I just don't understand why a couple like the MC's parents would put that kind of stipulation in their will. As far as I can tell they weren't expecting to die, it was an accident. I'm no expert on the matter of course and maybe I'm reading too much into it.

I knew the nurse was sus, just never looked at her next to the 3rd in the elevator.
MC's dad could have had a will with if/or type clauses. If the MC isn't in college or graduated, then x, y, z.
I do agree it's sus though. Maybe the lawyer leaked the specifics to another party and they decided now was the best time to act because it could influence the MC the most, or pull a con on him.

Yeah if that clause is in the will about college, it could certainly explain why the dean is trying to make his college life as miserable as possible. Todd gets some luxury room while the MC's room is tiny and stinks, with constuction work next door. I just can't shake the feeling that Todd may be in on this whole thing. But I hope I'm wrong.

Todd knows more than he's communicated with the MC. And we haven't seen any reason for him to hide things. But he organised a live fuck show, recorded it as black market pornography, pushed his best friend into a starring role (with no pay), to help Colleen clear her debt with organised crime, and the operation ran smoothly like he'd done it many times before (as was also implied by how familiar some of the guests were with him).
But at the same time he'd never been to the Pink Box? If that's a lie, then yeah, Todd dirty and going to fuck over MC. If it's true he's deep in one aspect of the sex trade in this city, but unconnected to another big shaker. Which is odd, especially since he knows so many of the staff (and likely the patrons). He even wants to bring Misty. Now. But not before.
It's all odd.

And yes, it's absurdly easy to know that the canon route for this game is to fuck as much as possible, swing and share, and let Bob in on everything. The game is much shorter otherwise (and I think there is just one extra scene, with Debbie, if you're not friends with Bob and go work at the library).

There definitely are viable alternate routes. But they are less tested and obviously not the primary focus. Which is fine, it's the dev's game to make. It's just refreshingly clear.
