It's rare I like best friends in games. Usually they annoy the hell out of me like that irritating prick in another college game about diks who's one of the reasons I can't play the game. That one is as annoying as the kids in the remake of War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise, i've never managed to watch it all the way through because those kids annoy me so much I have to turn off.

I also think he legit loves Misty and wouldn't be willing to do the sharing thing with the MC if he was going to backstab him.

I hope at least. He's just one of those rare male best friends I like. I think he's funny. I think him and the MC have a decent bromance.

I'd wager that's more because ~75% of games either fall under 'harem power fantasy' or 'pure ntr', and in the former most male friends are written as obsequious doormats to not give any competition, and the latter they're backstabbing enemies for obvious reasons.

Games that fall outside those two categories are really the only ones where 'friend male npcs' can exist as a full characters without rigid constraints.

Fair enough lol. I hated it at first, then remembered I've heard high-schoolers/college students say things equally as stupid as that irl. It fits but it's definitely annoying even though I do get it.

Unless I've missed it, is the app just a missed opportunity, or is it likely to play a bigger part later on? I can only remember one (brief) instance of it, and that was the initial BJ on arrival. I thought then that it would have a big part to play in the game - though as it happens, we don't need an app, we're getting enough fun fun as it is.

I barely played Fetish Locator, but that is immediately what I thought of when I saw the app here, and I thought it was going to be central to the game. I'm glad it's not, but it feels like it should come up a few times at least, just so it doesn't feel like something that was tried and immediately given up on.

I was shocked when i asked the PB dev if he had played FL and he said he hasnt, out of all the games ive ever played, that by far feels like a spiritual predeccesor to this more than anything else.
