To get the 10 willpower back that you lose from this trait, you have to complete stage 3 of the prowler questline. When I did it recently I got 10 willpower and the removal of the trait for defeating the monster the cult summons plus an additional 5 willpower for killing the monster (I assume you get that last part with or without the haunted trait). Better have a good combat team when you fight him though, he's on a par with Terror from the Deep in terms of difficulty.
Right, that's what I'm asking about. I completed the quest but didn't get the 10 willpower or the trait removed. If you have to fight the monster that's fine but it shouldn't just say complete the quest and that's also a hell of a difficulty spike compared to the rest of the quest.

Yeah he's not really even possible if you do that quest too early. He's basically Terror from the Deep with armor.

Hey, I remember there used to be unique scenes between characters like Michelle and her friend Adrienne. Are they still a thing or have they been removed?

Does anyone know how to get the girl Julie Wilson? Her wiki page only says "Found at the end of a quest chain obtained from NPCs with the Secretive trait" Is there any scripted npc with this trait?

A question regarding Religion.

If i pick a religion, pump up the standing and gain daily income. What happens with that if i change my religion? Do i keep it? Can i pump standing with various different religions this way? Or they get annulled/blocked if i switch sides.

You lose a small amount of standing. So you can pump up your income to a pretty significant level with all of the religions that will actually pay you. Some won't give you any rewards no matter what you do with them though other than maybe some follower bonuses if you boost them to 60+ devotion.

Seems to me that the chatolics and the aesir worth to bother with. The TMC gives nothing while the Caliphate basically just rips you off. So Christianity and then Aesir it is then.

Yeah, plus Islam will take your donations without needing to switch at all...

I still don't have any idea what use Willpower has :sneaky:
Well, 80 willpower is required for Master of War and many (all?) of the occult powers cost you willpower so you have to keep replenishing your willpower if you're using those powers or you get a game over when you reach zero. I can't think of much else though. I believe charm and manipulate check used to get a small modifier for high intelligence or willpower (80-100 or more if I remember right, and I forget which one modified which), but I'm not sure if that's still true.
