So playing the latest version I'm still getting used to the new Educator system. From what I can see looking at the bonuses, it looks like the ideal trainer would be old enough to get the age bonus (35ish?), Workaholic, Pure, Dominant, and Famous. Of those, most are trainable but I don't see a way to train Dominant. The only person I currently have with Dominant is Sofia and she doesn't have any of the other bonuses satisfied. Does one of the educator templates train Dominant and just doesn't mention it? Corruption is also a potential bonus if you want them to sex up their trainees.

I'm planning to start over and pay more attention to trying to get trainers with better bonuses set up. The ones I used in my current game are pretty ineffective, even if the additional training options are a very welcome change.

I don't think you'd want your trainer to be Pure. Basically mutually exclusive with having Corruption.

There may have been some chance random slaves start with it, but I may be misremembering.

I don't think you'd want your trainer to be Pure. Basically mutually exclusive with having Corruption.

Ah I was thinking pure gave a bonus, but looks like it doesn't unless you're specifically looking to train up pure. I'm specifically looking to max out these bonuses. Didn't realize being malevolent would passively train up Dominant. I guess I'll have to just ignore Dominant unless I want to play the long game and save up randoms who happen to have that trait to eventually train up in everything else. But by the time I managed that I probably don't really need trainers that much anymore.

So I guess for the early to mid game it makes more sense to train up a few people who are 35+ to get them workaholic and enough fame for the 20 pt bonus. Not sure what the threshold is for that but early game the only people I have who get that are Ayden and Felix. I usually make Ayden my captain but looks like it may be better to switch it up and make Felix my captain and put Ayden on Educator duty since he gets the age, workaholic, and fame bonus.

It looks like making Sofia my head maid might also get around her Attention Whore problem but I haven't tested that yet. I normally just mind wipe her to get rid of it, but if I don't have to I'd prefer that option. Grim mentioned something about Bud permanently losing Attention Whore if he's a member of your party when you do the Rebellion fights as well but I don't know if that's implemented and haven't tested it personally.

I guess Cassius could eventually become an ideal trainer since he's 35+, can learn workaholic, can start with malevolent (which could eventually get him dominant), and can get everything else. I can't think of anyone else who is already 35+ and can be malevolent or dominant. Can males even learn dominant? Don't think I've seen one so far.



Actually looking through the wiki it looks like this is the only NPC that might start off with all the ideal traits for it. Don't think I've ever seen and/or kept him before. Will have to keep my eye out for him this game.

I don't know the exact causes and effects since they're not explained as plainly as the old Slave Master system was in the wiki, but I think Workaholic and Dominant add additional stress gain and/or stamina loss, which can cause issues.

I've got Sofia with Workaholic, Dominant AND Malevolent, and the amount of stress she causes is wild, but luckily it seems to clear rather quickly so that no one usually gets the penalties for high stress.

If I was to build a "perfect" educator, I'd just take a 35+ old 100 int Workaholic with some fame bonus.

Realistically though, you're gonna need one person to train everyone elses int and discipline so you can train charm and whatever else. I'm currently training Tuner's int and discipline.

How did you get Sofia with Malevolent? Can she randomly get that? Have never seen that, although I haven't tried to save scum her extensively since I usually just mind wipe her anyway. Ok figured as much. So Malevolent is one of the only useful random traits you can't actually train now. Don't actually want it on most people but Cassius, Truls, Aaron, etc definitely become a bit more badass if you make sure they get it. Also from what I can tell Paragons refuse to train under an educator so ironically non paragons might have a higher max threshold as far as training up specific perks, although most of the paragons already have a decent list of perks to begin with.

Also didn't notice that the base chance on educators is heavily influenced by intelligence so add that to the list to really max out a trainer. Definitely more of a long term project. Will definitely have to prioritize getting that mine boss. He seems like the only potential trainer that pretty much already has it all.

Intelligence is literally half the base skill, so yeah, pretty important.

The Stormchild and Luckie were popular Slave Mistress candidates if you got Workaholic on them, since they have really high intelligence anyways.

In the new system I guess it depends on what you're using them for. I use Luckie as intelligence and discipline trainer.

Yeah although neither of them gets the age bonus unless it's a long game and you don't give them revital til they age up. Doyle is probably the best early game option for int trainer, although he's not guaranteed workaholic unless you save scum him.

Being 35+ only give +10 so just left her age a couple of years and she's as good as that and the only thing that limits her acquisition is the weather and money. No risky combat where you might accidentally kill her and no quest you need to find.

Oh I'll definitely pick her up asap, but in my games she usually starts with closer to 60 int. It takes a long time to fuck her to 120 especially if you start with 20 copulation. Lucky is a good option but she's not available til you get 10k influence unless you really start off as a combat monster. The scorpions are kind of a tough nut to crack the first month. In any case with all the training options under educator now I think it makes sense to have kind of a rotating group of trainers anyway with some of them actually serving as trainers while your backup trainers are actually being trained by your primary trainers.

I do think the new educator system is a lot more interesting than the old slave master system. I wonder if mentally challenged gets a penalty to the educator int training or just the academy? I always feel bad just making poor Rifle Savant a bouncer in my tavern or something instead of training him up to be a proper scavenger like I used to.

Just hired him there seems to be no educator penalty for Mentally Challenged in the educator menu

Connor is not a Paragon. Aria is only a Paragon if you set her free I believe. Try Felix or Ayden...

Some news about the inadecuated depletion rate of the Dengi Marauders in the Dengi invasion.

I have talked about this subject in previous posts

And i ended with

First conclusion. Defeating a Dengi Marauder Enemy POI makes nothing. In the 17 days run I have one day with zero combats, and one day with 12 combats. Result? 74 losses the day of 0 combats, 72 losses the day of 12 coabats. it never mind if the MC stay at home banging slaves or if he is in the field banging Dengis.

Second conclusion. Either the -10 of the City Power or the -10 of the Aesir Faction don´t work properly.

Well, I can confirm that the -10 depletion factor of the Aesir faction works right. I have had a -50 power event and in the two days that takes me to bring the faction to 1.000 the Dengi depletion went down from 70-75 to 60-65. so the main culprit of the Dengi depletion going wrong it´s the "City power 15000. -10" not going right.

And a piece of advice. Don´t Corrupt Nicole

. In order to Nicole and her Press office being Rebel her Corruption need to be under 40. Well, the power of the press it´s a big factor in this fight. It´s hard to get "City Control 90", and Nicole being Rebel have been invaluable at this regard. Not only City Control 90 give a very nice -20 to the Dengi Depletion, but also, if you in the interrogation sign near the 90 control score you get



the +50% Skiguard Regeneration it´s something of great effect. In 11 days the skyguard should loss 1650 troops, but the real losses have been only 1100. That´s a recruitment of roughly 50 per day, that makes a lot of difference in this atrition war.

but still, the big factor missing it´s the no implementation of the -5 per Dengi POI defeated.
