Alright, guess I'll just ignore both of them for now.

Another question. I have set up some maids for the workaholic trait but it's been like a year and not one of them even increased the trait by a single point. The only thing I can think of is not upgrading everything in the house but I'm pretty sure everything is at max already. Maybe I'll just slap them a janitor job. Lower chance according to the wiki but hopefully it'll work this time.

Are the maids loving+ affection? Is your house sufficiently upgraded? What's their Discipline like (needs to be either 50+ or 60+ IIRC)?

Gaining the trait via Janitor also had some requirements, consult wiki for accurate information, but I can confirm you can gain the trait via being a maid, if you just meet the requirements.

Yeah. My Piper has like 80 discipline and undying affection which is why I thought the issue was the house but I checked it again and everything is fully upgraded.

Edit: I also have her enrolled at the stables. Will that affect things?

I don't think stables should affect it, but on a quick test a random girl assigned as a maid and to stables gained 1 point of workaholic in 10 days while a maid I already had gained 6. Could be just luck, but something maybe affected the random girl I picked.

Do you have screenshots of your upgraded house?

There's nothing you can do. The Void Seeker and Iona Farley works that way. You cannot take it out, even with Neuraclean. You can probably put them in the Annex via Houserules, and do dinner arrange events with them. That's +6 to +7 Affection, to counter the -5.

You are the only one who can answer that.
It looks like there's a bug in 0.8.4.3 that clobbers Iona's (and probably The Void Seeker's) Detached trait -- specifically in the adding of new skills under the
"/* Important! Reset new traits and skills here */" comment , e.g.:

<<set _npc.traitemo to 0>>

From what I can tell it fires off for everyone. Iona in my current game is lacking the trait, and the game was started under 0.8.4.1 and I think I got her there. Later I updated to 0.8.4.3, skipping 0.8.4.2.

Then you must be referencing the random Liberty changing political event that could go either way, no?
Nope, it literally decreasing the liberty value, you know the one that liberty political event before aria taking up the mantle.

You can remove iona detachment traits tho, after you done her quest, but for void seeker, yeah you just have to deal with it.

Also hoping for maybe an endgame content or sort like that, because once you repel the dengi there is no other 'hard' mission. You can turn the dengi quest back tho if you got bored just grinding and training girl, lol. I mean what's the point of gearing up training your ass off, if you don't need to use them, I get it you know after took control the city, repelling the bad guy, you just laid back and and try to growth your power and money, still tho, some random encounter like mini aria quest/mission when the tank/apc came up in procoms or something like that will be nice.

Mine is still there. I do not know if it was because I did this quest the moment she released, or if there was a 0.8.4.3 checker that removed it as a previous commenter said but I did not load my save file to 0.8.4.3 proper, and instead went A2 alpha to 0.8.4.4 alpha directly, but this is still on.

Well in that case I've no idea why your isn't disappear, because mine are gone when I finish her quest, either they remove the feature from the game, which it doesn't make sense if the detachment is not gone when you help someone with their problem.

I did have one more silly thought...

Any chance you upgraded your house completely *after* you had assigned the girl(s) as maids?

Try unassigning them from their job and reassigning them as maids.
Doesn't seem to matter. I even removed titles just to check things out. Something must have bugged out in my game. I am using the automod if that matters.

I'm particularly having a hard time making the void seeker npc have undying affection towards me. I think it's possible if he was a woman but a male has less options in the affection department. A good one would be the pool party but it caps at loving. What makes this hard is his detached trait that lowers his affection by 5 every day.

Any tips?
I don't have him at undying, but got up to amiable just by putting him in a bedroom with a beautiful pervert (with relationships turned on). Most of the men like you for doing this, and if the girl is corrupted/perverted/nympho she will too.

Really?

I can not imagine a Roman from the Ordo Equestre enslaving his own kids. That would bring shame to your house. Far more plausible that you kill them that you enslave them.
Ah, but remember, you can be a member of SPQR now... and we're long past the early republic or even the triumvirates. Corruption and decadence ho!
