I think, for them control may need to be low so lots of Bandits appear, but I don't know for sure. I haven't been able to trigger any of the party quest's.

They stop having hopes and dreams, which can complicate quests. Also, flavor reasons. I like my girls kinky but not overly perverted/corrupted.
You can free your slaves, elevating them to servant status, and give them allowances.
They increase your MC/House's power value. Institutions you can take control of like Fort Sera, The Catholic Church, and Odensport/Warrior's Hall add a portion of their power values to yours. There's influence gain and even money though that is on the lower end in income flow.
As for what power value does, not much for now. It adds to intimidation checks and others like it.
If you have pressed the saved to disk option, it is in wherever your download is set to.
For example, I have mine set to the default Downloads folder so they are saved here.
Check Aria. She has it from start. or any other with a Fame above 200

I could not build the news office for like 300 ingame days because Nicoles Corruption was to high and Willpower to low.
The game does not really tell you this. Best look up the wiki to see if you missed out on any NPC related quests.

You can wait it out. Eventually, the ruling council will send space marines to get rid of it.
Alternatively, you shank it with a fully trained party armed with greatswords. But that requires you to have prepared for the fight beforehand. You can do it cheaper now than before since the ex-arena champ, Cassius, and Truls are introduced and can be captured. $0 salary and the latter two have high strength stats baseline. With some melee training and good affection status, they make for a perfect goon squad, powerstriking with their greatswords in melee.

yes, when you support developer via patreon you have no guarante that game will be developed or finished. but is it exactly same as with steam and early acces (but yeah, here is cash return), you have no guaratne that game will be finished too.
what i see as main difference, is that on patreon you pay fro that game with subsription , and that monthly sum will in 1-3 years will be eqivalent to (one time) price on steam.
but main advantage on patreon i see, that here in 99% of all cases, you have here acces to completly free version of game (sometimes it is older version of payed version, lack some extras..etc).
and for devs at patreon...after all, it is all about thiers behavior and delivery of regullar updates of thiers gaames. if they fail to deliver more or less regular updates, it is common that these devs have eighter small total income or they get big drop in income if they fail to deliver update for game for long time.
but generaly on patreon, it is safe to say, that once game is regulary updated of over 1 year, then there is very high chance that game will continue to be developed. over 90% of all burnouts happen in first year.
where you can capture these two "brutes" ? are they gated behind time gate, so they spawn after day xxx ? or related to some event ? or totaly random ? at which fights i can capture these guys ?
and are greatswords more effective to fight godzilla (terror from the deep) than plasma guns ?
