you don't , only a handful of characters at the moment have the "revealing outfit" such as Lovisa or Averil.
Okay, thats fine, but those npcs with the trait still lose the massive amount of affec each day with no means to clear.

, they SHOULD lose affection, but that also mean that you haven't completed the last interrogation.if they DON'T have the trait any more and keep losing affection for you, that may be a bug, or any other of the billions variables that influence npc mood, like their zodiac sign, the lack of vegan option in the menu, the cumstained dumpster you make them sleep in...

Quests are character-based. Acquire a character, get closer to the character, talk about hopes and dreams, keep clicking on More Information and if they like you enough they will tell you more and a quest will start.

Per his suggestion, I did look around and nothing was pending (aside from prior main-story quests). So I ended up just tossing the guy to kahill -Hope that doesn't happen on an npc that matters though.

There's starting to become a food shortage in my world. The stores aren't getting it in quick enough. I know there's most likely some mechanic I don't know about. I've barely done any hunting does that help?

Yeah, you are missing Zapin Fields then. Get Averil Lewis and do her quest.
You could do Burakumin Village too in Raikan.
EDIT: In case you weren't aware. AUTOBUYING food means you will never run out unless you run out of money as well.

I'll just add he should do it after the dengi invasion because they'll destroy the farm I believe.
No, Zapin is unaffected by the Dengi, it's the sawmill turned farm that can be permanently destroyed.

Normally i wouldnt take the bait - but you struck me at an odd sleep deprived time. What happened was a poster asked a simple question, one poster answered it straightforwardly, another other poster answered it assuming the original poster's incompetence over the devs. The original poster retorted snarkily back. The replying condescender did not like this. The end.
Have you max upgraded your own garden? I get this doesn't directly answer your question on food- the other guy did a good job of answering that - just surprised because I've never had a problem with food and I'm guessing my staff is bigger.
If you haven't I'd recommend building up the garden with a high skill gardener, while it wont be able to completely cover staff it can help offset it!

Listen man, no offence, but I'd bet cash money that this was OP incompetence, not dev incompetence.
Just bought it and gave it max upgrades when the food started getting short in the stores. Gotta find a good gardener now. Do you only need one gardener?
Just bought Averil too. That's the first slave I bought except for Stacy as you get plenty for free just marauding about the map.
