On A Dying World, the supply of HULC parts should still be endless, no? Unless I missed a change in the changelogs. If so, you can still craft HULC armor, at very expensive costs.

I started a new playthrough midways to make better choices and realized that almost all residents are loosing happiness overnight if the value is over 79. That wasn't a case in my first playthrough. Almost all of them stayed at 100 happiness there. My contentment is 200, no malevolent and dominant npcs are there, all NPCs are getting a positive salary (that wasn't the same in my first try), depravity and disrepair are 0, only a couple NPCs are jaded and I have no investments in gangs.
The only differences between the playthroughs are that now I started with a wife from the start and an invasion countdown.
What other factors may play a role in a sinking happiness?

I have this same issue on my current playthrough. I have never had an issue with keeping happiness at 100 but for some reason that isn't the case now. I went back and looked at the changelogs to see if they nerfed happiness gain somewhere but I didn't see anything that would cause the issue. I could have overlooked it though.

Could also be the overall political climate of the city is different, I know it weighs those. What's Nicole pushing for? (i learned forcing it loses a LOT of happ/affec with her)

Haven't got Nicole yet, but she had no influence in first playthrough too.
The prosperity and corruption are a lot lower than before, but the wiki doesn't mention anything related with happiness there.

I kinda wish to sandbox this game a bit, like something like a stat multiplier on gain, so instead of 1 skill points earn from, let say for example: blacksmithing and artisan, instead of one skill point, I get 3 instead.

Re: Happiness.

I have been seeing some of my NPCs fall below 100/100 Happiness, yes. Lowest I can find is 93/100. I have no idea what is causing it now. Two possible things:
  • like how there used to be no mention in the changelogs about increased Affection decay back in earlier patches, it may have been forgotten here; or
  • there has been a change in the order of calculations; the girl gets happiness contentment increase first, which is capped at 100/100, and then she gets the happiness decrease.

It seems to me, that the happiness increase from contentment and the upgrades of the dorms are are either not working at all or only upto a certain low happiness level. In my case it is raised through surplus salary until it reaches 79. If the happiness value is higher, it is dropping 1 point per day for most NPCs. But the happiness increase from the dorms alone should be +2. So the value would be 99 every morning. But it is dropping constantly. And if I take the surplus salary away, happiness keeps dropping even further.
The only one with a constant maxed happiness value is the wife.

Possibly a stupid question but how do I send girls to the gladiatrix school? It doesn't appear in the jobs menu and there doesn't seem to be a way of dropping off followers. Thanks

I'm trying to turn one of my male slaves gay. He's been a prostitute at my taverns for a couple years and his oral skill has hit 100 but his anal skill and homosexuality are both still 0. What do I have to do to punish this guy appropriately for his wrongs?

So how do I know when the game is complete? If I've done Aria's mission, notihng else is in journal, is there some endpoint?
