I have a phantom pregnancy in my household, and no idea where it came from and no way to check:

This may be related to:
"Fixed a critical bug that caused the sperm count of new non-player characters to not reset properly. This could potentially lead to the main character having ghost children from the newly added Randy." ( v0.8.4.3 )

Was there a girl you have sold to the slave-market and don´t remember any more? I don´t know if the statistics remember past pregnancies in that case.
Nope, never sold any fucked girl to the slave-market. I'm a simple man, I form attachments.

Weird, I don't have a Randy in my household...

Why is it capital "R" then that turns it into a name? Either way, I'm on 0.8.4.6.
I just copied a line from the changelog, I didn't write it. If you started the game with version v0.8.4.3 or earlier, the bug may have formed before it was fixed. If later, I don't know. In any case, this can be fixed through the save editor.
P.S. It's just "randies" in the original, I was wrong. Apparently the translator changed it, it's not my native language.

Nope, started on 0.8.4.6.
It doesn't bother me, but it did made me wonder and wished there was an easy way to see which one the pregnancy is referring to.

Maybe unpopular opinion, but Raids are dumb and we need a way to turn them off:

Hire all the mercs, get them strapped up.

You get loads of supplies, free coilguns, rifles and other stuff when you beat them

It's not that hard to get your defence upto about 150+ then you'll win them all

One of the most important things to do when you start a new game is hiring the 9 or 10 mercs you can get in the first couple of days to defend your household from raider attacks. Just flip abunch of slaves each day to pay for them and save up for that first workshop.

This game is great at punishing you for trying to do things in half measures. The world it's set in is vicious and I love it. :PogChamp:

In one of my first few playthroughs I was going to get Samuel at Hamah Bay in the first day or two and I didn't want to pay the 500 for my full crew to ride out there with me so I sent them all home. I went out there got Samuel and was heading back to base BUT we got jumped by about 4 or 5 raiders heading back into the city and got our asses handed to us lol. Every other playthrough after that I paid the 500 for the full crew to ride with me. :KEK:

I have kinda avoided the manipulate grind because it still eludes me tbh and I always end up in a 70-90 range with books and academy stuff which I felt was plenty in most circumstances. But it still has me left wondering what would be the best to raise that in a timely manner. I know you can get some from explain chores, something like having affection, willpower and maybe corruption in a specific range... If anyone has some input in a 30 minute ingame timeframe I could substitute that for the usual affection grind.

Off the top of my head, requesting sex manipulatively (demanding) was the way to improve it.

I think you could grind it to a 100 without passing a minute even, if you're just patient enough? But obviously you can just build it over time as you also train copulation, or fuck the Vanilla out of some girls and so on.

How do I defeat the Void Beast?? Do I need to redo the Prowler in the Depths??

Yeah, if you attacked the 2 guys before the void beast came up out the ground. You're supposed to wait then it jumps up out the ground and you can attack it. Probably need atleast wega armor and it's easier to give everyone great axes or swords for that fight.
