What's the steady supply of Willpower to offset the impact of changing religion? Also, what do you mean with maxing out - your standing with them? I've been atheist since game start and have no idea what religions are good for, do each have at least a few errand quests to keep me busy as I try to upgrade my workshop?Changing religions is not really a big deal, though. It's good to start with Aesir, max them out and switch to a different religion.
Check wiki for willpower gain options. What's the steady supply of Willpower to offset the impact of changing religion?
Yes.Also, what do you mean with maxing out - your standing with them?
You get passive effects at high devotion, you can see these in the religion panel at home.have no idea what religions are good for
No.do each have at least a few errand quests to keep me busy as I try to upgrade my workshop?
Thanks, this was in essence what I needed to know. I read the wiki and since I already have good manipulation, charisma, and gain 500 influence every day, bonuses seem pretty small, there are drawbacks and all but maybe Aesir for early game seem more like roleplay. So I just remained Atheist. With my full WEGA squad (some with stealth) it feels like even the Aesir bonuses are past the point where they would be useful. So all there's left is to check the Catholics for the new content and farm those for cash (supposing any cash inflow from other religions ends when you convert)? No.
Currently only the freshly revamped Catholics have quests.
No.(supposing any cash inflow from other religions ends when you convert)?
Did you try to download game from links in the OP?Tier4 download?
The latest alpha is A2. Since I am not playing the alpha yet, I cannot tell you for sure whether he is an A2 introduction, but this is the patch notes:Sorry, v0.848a11 changelog tells me I had the knights mixed up.
Completely different character
Still have no idea how to do anything about the Knight Order except for getting Drake back.
Taking a male enemy, making sure he is in slot one and enteringFor Ezra (similar to earlier suggestion for Zenobia). Go to random fight, put the following into console and don't forget to catch first enemy
SugarCube.State.active.variables.taken.slot1.id = 357 should be simpler unless he wants the actual experience of fighting and incapacitating Ezra. It's definitely simpler. You won't have the intended version of Ezra though because code has the following (it's executed when processing captured slave I believe):Taking a male enemy, making sure he is in slot one and enteringSugarCube.State.active.variables.taken.slot1.id = 357should be simpler unless he wants the actual experience of fighting and incapacitating Ezra.
/* EZRA */
<<if _takenid is 357>>
<<set $adisplay to 357>>
<<set $aage to 23>>
<<set _name to "Ezra">>
<<set _lastname to "Waylen">>
<<set $ran_melee to 20>>
<<set $ran_ranged to 50>>
<<set $ran_willpower to 60>>
<<set _blockname to true>>
<</if>>
SugarCube.State.active.variables.courtxpwhat variable is the senate rating ? too much a pain to grind manually...
You mean like:It should be mentioned somewhere that doing the catholic quests locks you out of the ability to donate rations or raise your standing with the church once you complete the quests.

?Catholic Faction Overhaul
The Catholic faction has been completely overhauled. Instead of a simple donation framework, the MC can now interact with a living and dynamic faction filled with intrigues, quests, business ventures and interesting NPCs. Train and equip the Catholic Militia, restore the lost Iron Order and embark on missions that offer expeditions, interactions with other factions and multi-endings.
You can get like 18 points in standing doing those quests. You mean like:?
Yeah, but your issue was they supposedly didn't tell you this beforehand, which they did do.To be clearer, in 8.4.7, I was making $788/ day from catholic church.

Loading that save into 8.4.8 a11, calculates it differently so it immediately drops my income to $465
That is a $323/ day loss simply by *upgrading* the html to get new quests.
Then doing the quests locks you out of even making that money back.
In the 0.8.4.8 changelog.NOTE! Upon loading 0848 on old saves, the entire Catholic Faction is reset. All Standing, Power Values and Manpower modifications done through donations and political events are nullified.
