I didn't know Helo Arsone Grey was a scripted NPC and killed all the Urban Titans long ago. Is there a console command to reactivate them?

I don't remember exactly which post, but I did came across a post which suggested that it's possible to cheat gaming using a 'file save editor'. So I did, and it worked perfectly for someone like me who just wanted to enjoy the content of game for while, without grinding much.
Just the file editor I used earlier had a file size limit, so I found this different file editor . There probably are many posts about this, still thought I'd contribute a little, so try it if you also don't want a lot of grinding.

I prefer personally. But right now, I'm using the excellent console shortcuts that are part of the automation mod.
Speaking of the automation mods, big big Kudos Porrvald! It's an amazing tool that should be part of the main game design going through. You don't feel the grind and your mouse slow death over thousands of clicks if you can just execute nifty scripts at the click of a button. It's fantastic!

Also, this is just so funny: Your new professor is this 9 year old kid just out the creche!

Since Aria stats are very damn high because of the mother of all training, her kids pop out as natural geniuses.

Never did the children siring thing myself before, only now i'm developing an interest now seeing how this whole inherit-traits and nanny-trains-abilities work.
Could you tell how this works more specifically? What did the child inherited from mom? Do they inherit traits? What is the ratio between mom's abilities and that of the child's?

They inherited her beauty, dex, int, academy, and tech at 100+,90,90,80+,70+ respectively. This a fully trained future chancellor and the nanny is the Stormchild since she can boast an impressive 124 int and 100 discipline. Discipline though doesn't transfer and is the key stat for sending out successful children. If you don't send them out, Aria can pop fully prepared professor straight out of the womb. You don't need discipline for academy job.

If you plan on sending them out, the highest influence is the performer which needs the Starlet trait or 80+ performance. Performance isn't inheritable, kids will start at ~20. Either train it or F5 the kid to get the trait. With the automation mod, I get a small window that preview traits so I F5 shamelessly to get what I want. The best money earner is the scientist which needs Science 80 and discipline 50. All paths are further boosted by discipline 80 and workaholic which I do F5 too(it's a damn pain and a half to train otherwise). Discipline is annoying to get that high since you can't make the kids housemaid last I checked. You can make them guards though, so a competent Captain would automate that.

It's a long term investment that is easy to setup and automate but with dubious returns. Sure you can have a stable of kids out in the world earning $ and influence that are untaxed and invulnerable to all modifiers. But by the time you're at that point, your workshop is churning cash, and the Zapin fields --> ration --> orphanage --> influence pipeline is roaring through.

However, if you wanna RP your little own royal family, as I said Aria and the Stormchild deliver womb-ready professors. So you can staff the academy with your progeny.

Child's stats:
  • STR = mother's STR but capped at 50 so a 120 STR mom can only give a 50 STR child
  • DEX = mother's DEX plus modifications (1/7 chance +5, 2/7 chance for +10, +25, or for no modification at all); capped 90
  • INT = mom's INT plus some modification (1/9 chance to be +5, +25,+45, -5, or -10; 2/9 chance to be +10 or no modification at all); total is capped at 90.
  • Acad and Science = caps at 70
  • Willpower and Discipline = 20% chance to be 5, 25, or 45; 40% chance to be 10; Not sure if the discipline part works actually; it could be like old Adrienne's problem where she has discipline bonuses she can roll when you hire her but there was a separate discipline setter that set her to 10 no matter what.
  • Beauty = mother's base plus a chance to add a random 5 at conception. when processing, 1/11 chance to +15 or +40 beauty; 2/11 chance to instead be +5 or +10; 4/11 chance to not add additional beauty.
  • Nursery happiness affects starting happiness and affection
  • other stats like domestic, survival, all set to start at 10; performance related stats start at 15, dancing at 20.
  • STR, Academics, Science, and Discipline can have chance rolls to have -5 or -10 but it will never be 0 or lower since there's checkers that counter it. STR gain is not even a problem anyway since as long as the mother has high STR, the child almost always end up with 50 STR after processing.

It's Performer that should be the highest earning job at $40 per day base income vs Scientist at $35 per day base income. Guard duty is the fastest discipline gain ye, at a rate of 1 discipline per day with a great Captain assigned.

Child's stats:
Thanks a ton for the answer. Helped a ton.

My plan is neither sending out nor having a royal family. I plan to fill those npc slots with high stat girls with the right traits and see what kind of stats and traits come. Wanna see if those perverted, nymphomaniac, submissive, extrovert, starlet, techie, nerd types do happen.

I don't know how the nanny's teaching will transfer with a x10/x100 aging.

I prefer , as it doesn't mysteriously inflate the file size so you don't have to worry about the possibility of a payload having been added.

Speaking of great captains, Milou is nice at that role, and at being a great quarter-master. I kept Ayden at the role until I got Milou and dismissed him. Marrying her removes her salary, and since I'm atheist to keep my willpower topped up (occult affection and heal on a stim allergy mc), I don't have no pesky waifu limit.

Really? I hadn't considered that. Sounds like a great reason to wife her up. Does her ammo pack trait still work if you do that or do you have to pay her an allowance to enable it again? I like to wife up Aria as well for story reasons, on top of the fact that she's just one of my favorite characters. Wonder what happens if you wife up Clea (the new paragon). I don't have her yet.

I use Kuro (Black Scorpion). Comes with 200 willpower, 100 discipline, 80 melee, 20 range. No questions were asked :sneaky:

That's the plan. There are three favorite slots to fill after all. A Chancellor, a Space Ace, and a legendary assassin sounds sweet. Clea would take Doyle spot as tavern-mistress and marrying her would make it salary-free too.

Yeah for me Caitlyn and Aria are both wifey material. Milou seems to fit the bill as well, and I haven't seen Clea yet. I tend to prefer Aesir as my religion so that still leaves me with 1 more wife slot if I want. I didn't take family man this time or that last spot would already be taken.

Is she enslaved or how does that work?

No she isn't enslaved. Just married after I hired her. It removes salary requirement and it keeps ammo-pack ticking along without needing an allowance either. If you're gonna pay her, you'd be paying your own house after-all.

So there's a practical threshold for a Paragon who naturally has a -90 modifier to agree to marriage instead of your chances saying "Impossible". I see. Probably 0 willpower though I cannot be assed to grind it.

Do failed rolls essentially show what is success chance? Like if it's 65, -5 then it means there is 60% chance for successful roll, right?

I kept a save before marrying her:

It's a chancy roll, not iron-man material for sure:

After her quest, undying affection, 101 charm.

Okay, this sounds like a challenge:

Father them kids! Out-do old Mordie! GD there better be a super duper master trait that activates at 56 kids!

For me her chances are at poor at Soulmate affection and high willpower so a lot of it has to do with stats.
