i have the slavemaster of raana in my journal. i think the last part that i did with his quest was to assault the warehouse (not sure), and now when i go into the KYmanto hall i have nothing to interact with (aside from the status, slaves and transfers) and i dont have anything else in my journal about kymanto hall aside from the slavemasters

Does anyone know how to fix the character creation UI? I really want to try this game out but whenever I launch it and open it in chrome at 1920x1080 the attributes selectors are covered by the rest of the ui. I can't really change anything if it's near the bottom as it's covered up by the Biography, Skill classes, etc text. I tried downloading the most recent version to see if that'd fix it but it's still covered up. The attached image is what it looks like on the traits selection menu. Do I have to do something to launch this game in a different resolution?

What are some good ways to get strong early other than training ?

You don´t need train t all to make the full run of Master of Raana.

My MCs, all of them, have a pathological adversion to physical training. Starts with only 35 Ranged. Strengh? Muscle can be hired. Dextery? I´m not in a hurry. Melee? Who cares. I´m a gentleman, and training and jumping and all the sweating and fatigue it´s good for monkeys, but not for proper gentry, one who is one of the best brains of Ikaanos. It´s bad enough that the half brained morons that I have in my pay roll are unable to follow simple instructions as "go to Stoke hill and clean the fort" and you must grab them by the hand and guide him like 5 years old. The only physical training I have had it´s stamina to keep my initial stat of 70 (after all, I´m Glotonus. and love of chocolate cakes, with a filling of chocolate and sprinkles of chocolate on top, and a proper Gentleman can not have a plebs beer belly).

Just buy fine gear. The money, in the field and not in the bank. My A Team it´s Cassius (and really it´s the only mandatory one) with Hulk, Ayden, Clea and Aria (first with Wega and lately also with hulk) Two implants for all and a proper medicine knowledge to use Combat Healing and nobody goes down unless a really bad dice strike.

I have not trained Melee and Combat a single day in my run and Cassius its 150 M/91R, Aiden 147 M /98R, Clea 121M/118R and Aria 100M/91 R for my team A. In my Team B Bud had 122M/88 R, Sophia 88M/81R, the Monk 133 melee. You dont need more to defeat all of Ikaanos Enemies. And my MC, with 89 R and his bionic Eye (and his loved minigun) holds perfectly his own in any combat.

Training it´s for sissies. Do the real thing. Combat.
637 combats are the count at this moment.

The typical advice in UI invisibe cases is to use the zoom function in your browser. Zoom out to 80% and fingers crossed it works.

But in the picture you provided, the display itself looks buggy. Look how the Info/select buttons are off-center.

To pinpoint the problem, are you using a modified file or launching on an unintended platform, like Android? Have you tried other resolutions?

And are you able to launch the game anyway, ignoring the blocked traits?

This is the base game downloaded from GoFile and I haven't done anything to it except unzip it with 7zip and put it in my preferred directory and launch it. I and on windows 10 on my desktop aswell. But I tried sizing down my resolution and it had the same issue. I have also tried the zoom function on chrome and that didn't work it just made the entire screen smaller (overlaps and all). And yes I was able to launch the game atleast past character creation when I just put a name in, confirmed it, and hit complete.

Well dang.

So you tried multiple versions of the game with Chrome. You also tried zooming and switching resolutions. Still the same bug.

Could it be that your version/setup of Chrome doesn't like the game for some reason?
You could try running it with a different browser. If you have Windows, you may have Edge on hand.
If the bug persists, Edge is a Chrome derivative, so you could try a browser based on a different engine, such as Firefox.
Maybe that'll help?

Meanwhile, if you can start the game, you can start playing it already! If there are UI bugs in-game you can report them too. And if no... you're all set.
And if you still want to try those specific traits, you can enable them in-game with the console.
Do you need the console commands for the traits?

(And according to Grim the properly hard game start is Rise from the Ashes, which has so few creation points that you'll have practically nothing for the traits anyway )

When you get enough influence you can go to Emerald city east of Redhaven. Go to the springs with Tori as a follower and she will join.

This problem usually occurs when the browser's default language doesn't have a Latin alphabet. If that is the case, try switching to English and see if it works.

Red Scorpion has this unique trait..forgot name, where when he loses a battle he has to stay with you till he dies. He had 400 points to his religion.....now he doesn't have it because I converted him.

that's kuro sasori, which is also just 'black scorpion' in japanese. he's not random though

a number of npcs, scorpion included, will have some amount of fixed traits in addition to potential random ones. i was asking about totally randomly generated dudes. not sure if the random members of his gang also have that red tide trait, i sold all the ones i captured

Not too many, perhaps just Academy, Ikaanos (council/senate/smaller citadels...) merchants (shopkeepers) and such. NOT that they should have much meaning for us usual players, but in case you are using mods - own or from other folks - or wish to edit the game in some other way, you could probably make almost every other warlord produce passively fame and wealth for you and your household as much as you ever like.
Please note that I am NOT judging. The modders are usually the greatest fans of the game. Something just feels a little bit odd to me, when folks keep editing the game mechanics until their very toilets start to throw up gold and emeralds.

In my opinion, 1500 influence is quite a lot for a single pill, especially since its effect is very small. Neuraclean and Revital are less expensive in influence cost yet their effects are a lot more significant. And Revital is sold in batches of 20

That's income modified by current City Control.

This particular line has been moved (in 0839) to the summary scroll and the effect is now calculated after business income, similar to Dockyard punks and Prosperity. So it'll hopefully make more sense in the next update.

It's worth noting that if your MC is Catholic or Aesir then he won't be able to donate to the other of these two religions due to ancient animosity.
