I have started a new game with the late version. Grimdark and dying world, and I hired Ayden at day 4. He have no ammo for his coilgun.

He have the Ammopack trait, and I´m paying him his full salary. What I´m missing??

Dying world: Having a City Prosperity below 10 will now disable the Ammo Pack trait for NPCs.

To me, Persuade always seemed to have worked much better.

The game didn't seem to tell you this but if they don't hate your gut, the results will be better.

Don't try to interrogate a venomous very angry npc unless you have very high stats. Make them happy and loving and it's going to be easy.

Secretive trait will keep resurfacing untill you unlocked all so don't be afraid to throw away an npc whose stats are too problematic for interrogation. Wait for a more prospective one. Oh. By the way. Don't expect superexciting rewards. Just some loot they stashed.

Go to the city map outside your home or to a map containing a slave market. Look at the UI buttons. One is a pair of handcuffs with a small number that represents the number of captured you have currently. Click on it and 'process' each capture.

How have i managed to play the game for this long without figuring this out... so many new slaves i have never seen ;D many thanks!

Only if you rely solely on passive gains and wanna do this whole things by passive incomes and increases.
In this game certain things require a more hands on approach. Want an NPC's affection high quick? Spend your days with socializing with that person. If woman, it's super fast because complimenting alone gives 6-9 Affection.

If man then ask how he feels, take for a walk, take to dinner, visit theater, watch the stars.. hold Pool party. Over and over again. Pool party is quite essential anyway.

OK thanks. I figured compliment and encourage would have use limits or diminishing returns -- it's a common trope for trainer games. I haven't found pool parties yet.

The pool is not very obvious - you actually have to build a Gazebo first and can then add a pool to it. The engineer in me is still screaming about it....

You can compliment twice a day per NPC but it isn't diminishing and yields a lot of affection if you don't mind the willpower+kindness increase. (In case of a temporary NPC this is perfectly fine.)

You have to build a gazeboo in your garden and you can add a pool to that.
Pool party hosted for all costs 10$/person with ~3-9 Happiness and +2 Affection yield. Only those who aren't away on jobs attend. So host it after 17:00 if you wanna include your entire household. Can be hosted until 20:00.
Best way to rapidly increase happiness en masse and that +2 affection for everyone is just sooo good.

When I cancel her lecturing and re-apply, all that is offered is the lecturer position.

There's a second slave with almost the same stats who is a professor.

Bud is specialized. At certain affection levels, his Ammo Pack will work. His uncle's smithery is close to your house and he mooches off his uncle for ammo.

Teaching at the academy also gives you willpower with some random events may be 1/4 or 1/5 of the days

Morning blowjobs has a chance to increase willpower up to 90. I do not know the most effective order of morning blowjob so you can maximize your chances while minimizing your in-game time spent on it. (Is it Clean Balls once, one blowjob, then end it?)

One of the Charucks on Hamah Bay has a chance to raise Willpower up to 120 every time you kill it. It respawns when killed, every 5-7 days.
