For a HTML game this game feels like such a hassle to play on JoiPlay.

With 1.0 scale I can't see the top of the screen, changed the width scale to 0.6 as recommended, seems fine at first but then the UI buttons and texts overlap and on top of each others. Is there a guide, or at least a solution for the overlapping?

I have wondered already quite a long time about the popularity of workshops. I prefer having tavern(s), since they need less workforce than workshops and IMOP it is easier and simpler to draw in audience than manipulate the market.
No workshops for me, thank you very much, and even less than workshops I need annexes. Never again that shit after I once got rid of those and the damned retreat too as well. :)
The popularity of workshops? Easy to understand. My two fully upgraded worskshops give to me 18.000 construction points daily. That´s an income of 80.000 daily. Or 500 swords to rise factions/ fill the rebel ranks.

But this came with a caveat. REplenishing of Steel/fasteners in the market. Not sure if it´s bugged, or working as intended, or if I´m missing some fine point but, at this moment, I have 2 workshops and I had a big buy of steel/fasteners. Something like 50.000 of steel. And take note of the steel remaining in the market. 749.000 of steel remaining. I have consumed all the 50.000 steel (plus the steel production of my mine, now defunct) and checked how many steel there are in the market. 749.000 remaining. Zero replenishing.

Prosperity of Ikaanos it´s 40(normal) and Control 20-24 (disorder). May be with Control above 25 or better prosperity would be some replenishing of the stocks, but it´s something that it´s something that concerns me. In previous versions it was not an issue, you can always buy (albeit at a higher price) but now


  • You can no longer buy wood, fasteners, steel and durasteel if the purchase button exceeds current Market Supply.



Have anyone played long enough to give an answer tho the question of what would be the replenishment rate of this valuables?

Supposedly if I have an Educator with the Scavenger trait and I assign the Adventures Template they will give their students the Scavenger trait once their Survival hits 60+. However I'm not seeing Scavenger show up, even as a partial... for that matter NPCs with the trait don't show it when you click the "?" next to Traits.

Do I need to do something else as well? Just wait? Has it worked for anyone?

May I ask how many workers are involved?

(I have 8 slaves at the moment - Aria already a chancellor - plus the MC. One reliable slave working as barkeeper and one Lezzlie Winnipeg-class singer/dancer should suffice to keep one tavern going. While I couldn't compete with workshops in total income, I think I might come close with ROI [return on investment] and keep abreast with cash per capita. I'd really hate to put the majority of my household into workshop for a whole day...
Taking MORE slaves than 8? Nah

16 all in all for both. No. You are not even close in Income, per capita or else as ROI.

A workshop cost 35$k base +10k+10k+25k+75+200k or 355. Both, 770. Plus 300k of fusion reactor, 1.070K all in all.I get my money back in 13-14 days. Once with the investment recovered, it´s 5.000 per worker.

You can earn money (plenty) putting Ayden to screw bolts...

Haven't tested myself, but it seems like for now Scavenger isn't listed in the trait value list, which means there's no UI way to check progress on it. You can check through console if you know the AV number of the person in question

SugarCube.State.active.variables.npc.av[number].traitscav

See if that returns something that's not zero. If it does, then the trait is being trained

Edit: To clarify, the list of trait values is pre-defined, so it will only show you the numerical value for a trait if the game was set up to show it to you. For example, Unbreakable (I think) wasn't listed in that screen until a recent update

(Bought building location, 40 k, tavern 32 k and a worker 5,4 k. [passable barkeeper and a working fusion reactor I already had, so I decided to go cheap. Only 77,430 RD :)])
Took a fortnight and one day before I had collected even the price of the worker girl - so I must confess having been all too optimistic. Takes horribly lot of carousing to build fame for a tavern. Nice hobby, not a treasure my beginner's tavern. Would take months to get the thing paid - so there are much better investments and more profitable ways to spend time with.

Do note that you can assign more than 4 people per Educator, they just start accumulating a small penalty per extra pupil.

IIRC Slave Masters/Mistresses at least bugged out at 8 or 9 trainees and wouldn't train them all. But that's still 3x7 people you can train, which is plenty enough for me.

Haven't tried the new educator system, seems to be a good way to increase intelligence which was missing before.

Two questions:

I've only completed "New World Order" once with a super corrupt Aria. I'm assuming if she isn't she actually increases Republic Liberty to get rid of slavery?

Does anyone know if the dev mentioned plans in the future to go to any of the Prometheus Lake areas or I guess areas outside the immediate Ikaanos area? Lake City, New Tokyo, etc.

Does anybody know if Milou's affection is bugged or the cap is just unnaturally low? I've been able to get my affection to undying for literally every slave but her, she caps out at soulmate.

i dunno about your 1st question as ive never gone Non-Corruption Aria, i can answer your 2nd question tho
In Ikaanos Districts planned:

  • Myrdalen (scandi town)
  • North Crow's End (a sleepy, upper-class neighborhood)
  • North Whitehaven (Academy related)
  • Crystal Beach (((maybe)), an upper-class hangout place with one of Ikaanos' last true night clubs).

    -- Outside Ikaanos, Red River Basin for starters and probably a couple of districts north of Darkmere. Both areas are getting explored in 0.8.8+ (y)

The tavern it´s a fine inversion. Just put Mr Doyle to work at it and forget about it

Barkeeper
The barkeeper's score is determined by his (Charisma + INTELLIGENCE + Extroverted trait)/3. There are also a number of other score enhancing factors:

  • Certain story NPCs receive a character boost (+35) to their score ( , , and ).
  • Age 30+: +15.
  • Age 50+: +15.
So Mr Doyle have a +35 specila,+30 per age, +1/3 of (extroverted+Charisma+Int) so a bare minimum of +125. You put on the tavern, forget about the matter and when you blink, the tavern it´s making 500+ pèr day. Blink again and you have gone to 1000$.

You get your money back in 120 days or less, and then you have a 1.000$ workplace with no fuss. I would rate the tavern second only to the mill and, of course, the workshops.

Yes. She will very very slowly raise Republic Liberty.

Did you do her quest where you kill her sister's killer?

Is her Fear level 2 or higher?

Does she have a trait that reduces Affection?

Are you only doing normal sex to raise Affection? Normal sex is capped. To raise it further, she needs other events like dinners, compliments, or bondage.

How far are you into the Aria questline? Did she ask for a $1000 allowance? If she did and you are done with Aria's second and biggest questline, she will lose affection -2 per day without that $1000 per day allowance.

Seems that there are some kind of modifier to the increase of stats via Educator. when you go high but well before hitting the cap

I know that this is the case by body type. Connors (Muscular) have been stuck at St 90 for a long time, and he is without any work (so no negatives) and under Aiko (Base chance 76+5 per affection). And Aria have been stuck at INT 75 for at least a week, also without any work assigned and under Clea (91 skill+20 fame + 5 affection, cap 81). and no, neither Clea or Aiko are overload with templates or too much people assigned

Did anyone kil the Terror of the deeps? The wiki says it is in Kasey's park, I went there and used investigate but nothing comes. Am I wrong? Did I miss the chance to kill it and random skyguards got it? Someone please let me know.

The terror appears from a political (day end) event that only fires after a certain number of days have passed.

Not sure how long, I'd guess something like 50 at least, and it's a low chance to fire, so it could easily be another 100 days until you see the event.
