No, you are doing all right. You can start/end day only by buttons from automod screen on right side, original button from game are purposely disabled by this mod to prevent bugs/to correctly show summary popup at the end of the day.I installed the automod, all running fine. but im a bit confused, often i cant conclude the day, and if im in the sleep screen, i cant start the day, unless i use the right side screen, am i doing something wrong?

Kill the low control bandit spawns in Redhaven and Westside. Each kill adds +1 control and you can sell or keep the captives. It is purely RNG and you might just have bad RNG, but, if this is the Alpha version, it could be bugs. If so, it will be fixed when the actual public release is downloadable.All the events firing are negative events for 3 consecutive months that reduce control and prosperity. Despite playing on easy mode "sandbox" every time I try to increase control an event happens at night that negates that I did. It is mind numbingly stupid.

Arrange Events ---> Dinner between 4pm to 8pm once per day can give a total of +3 Affection to all participants (up to Undying+) if your rolls are successful. Assign maids (maids do not participate in the dinner so they do not gain affection), turn off floor crawlers (vanilla and low corruption males will lose Affection).

If you only have a small number of people at risk of escaping, the only guaranteed method I know of is to imprison them. It also helps to assign several people as guards and upgrade your guard tower, etc so if an escape attempt is made you're more likely to catch them. Pool parties are a good way to fix affection for newly captured people unless they have the deadly enemy or detached traits. Party Animal trait helps with that if you started with it as well. For females, the fastest method is to just fuck them but this assumes you have decent skill at charm, manipulate, or copulation to ensure they like it.Btw guys, what is your method to prevent captured people from escaping?
It's even worse with males I think.
The only secure method I've seen is increasing their affection, but that takes a long time. You have to put them into an upgraded private room and spam them every day to get free time the rest of the day, while in the meantime praying that they dont try to escape, even worse if they have a ton of dexterity.

Cause enslaving people is like... one of the main focus of the game, so I must be doing something wrong. Do you have to have like 10 people stationed as guards? That's a lot of people and resources invested.

Also until you've discovered all of the secrets from any secretive people you might find you may want to prioritize interrogating any secretive people who have low willpower until you finish that. Once you do, all remaining secretive people will have that trait removed. I just auction off any high willpower secretive randoms, but not uniques.
With a good Captain and like 5 really effective guards, I think the base escape chance is already in the low single digits for most fresh slaves, even dudes. Then it's just a matter of not angering them more.I just think there should be a better system to either lower escape attempts, or increase affection, that doesnt require grinding going person to person to spam free time. As of now I dont see a consistent method that doesnt either take a lot of spamming all NPCs, or investing a ton of time and money, plus having proper attributes.
