If you have send this captured people to Ford Serra you can transfer them directly to the Rebel at the Rebel HQ
I usually send a few hundred guys from Fort Serra to the rebels, save some several hundred thousand cash that way.

Though some pros will probably tell me I should just build 4 workshops and earn a cool million a week so it should be no issue or something...

Raising academy standing is such a chore. What are console commands or variables I can changes to increase it? I want seve.
SugarCube.State.active.variables.aca_disp = 30

It is probably not even 30. It was 20 I think, but just to be on the safe side.

By the time one is ready for the Rebellion (training-wise, for the followers you would bring and Aria), Fort Sera should have the men to spare for it. No real reason to rush the recruitment when you are still also training your followers. What can happen is that the rebels are ready but you are not, so you naturally postpone the attack phase anyway (the quest will just pause, so it is okay to do it; but no rush). Although, Clea might be locked behind it (I do not know exactly when in the quest path Clea shows up) and you might want to get her to train her.

And four workshops is just too much workshops.

I'm curious, can someone familiar with the code tell me the difference in melee damage between someone with 130 strength and 200 strength? I assume it is weapon independent, but if not could you use the great sword as a reference.

Not a bug. Valerie is one of the uniques with no hopes and dreams added yet.

Good day mate... on a side note. What settings are you running to get the UI to fall in place like that. Does it need to be specific to lower graphics settings like 1980x or something. Lower right corner my statuses always bleed down over the save and home buttons. Thanks

What's the best way to handle combat in this game? I always found it weird that when an enemy closes the distance on you, if you want to attack close, you have to do the same thing or you can't attack in melee, even though the enemy is already close. It also doesn't seem to have a way to prevent enemies from targeting my main guy even if I have followers. Would you say the best way for combat is melee or ranged in this case?

If you want to capture slaves (make sure to buy more ropes at the market!), you best do it with combat staffs or whipping canes, which means melee.

I typically start out my weak combat character with a ranged weapon and have my companions deliver finishing blows.

If you, or a companion, have 80 melee skill or 80 dexterity, you get to choose whether to start combat at the back or front. It will help you immensely, as you'll get to attack on the 1st turn with melee weapons.

The bad guys usually target tho most badass enemy(**). I have not this problem at all. My MC it´s usually the weakest combatant of my team, and he is rarely targeted.

(**) Assuming that everyone wears Duraplate or superior. If someone wears inferior armor he gets a big bonus by the rationale of "this it´s going to be fast and easy, let´s do it first"

I'm just returned to the game a couple of days ago after months of inactivity, but is there anybody that has experienced a bug with the Adrienne Keller quest as in her uncle doesn't appear within the game (Crystal Heights)? Obviously, I still have equipped as a follower, but I advanced a couple of days and even debug clear my followers and still no signs of the uncle. I never had this issue before. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Did you first go to the Town Hall to learn where he lives?

This is my browser at full screen and 80% zoom. This is on PC, chromium browser (MS Edge). Firefox works as well.

Aggro is determined by who has the best combat stats, weapon in use, and who is wearing what armor. If all your followers are wearing Stealth armor, you are the only one that can be targeted first. If you are wearing Duraplate, WEGA, or HULC, and your followers are wearing weaker armor Combat Armor or Weave, enemies are much less likely to attack you.

Melee or ranged depends on what you are trying to do and which stage of the game are you. Before miniguns, which is a limited loot (two) very late into the game, powerstriking with a greatsword or greataxe (the powerstrike icon is the armored glove, or press E as a shortcut/hotkey) are the best single target weapons in this game, discounting Cybercannons (limited ammo, cannot be Ammo Pack'd) and uniques (which you probably do not have, because Sword of Azuk is even later and Sacred Mallet requires a character creation trait). This is assuming you have trained melee and strength enough. If you are catching prisoners however, some people would prefer the plasma rifle and whipping cane combo, because whipping cane takes the melee slot, and plasma rifle is good at removing armor soak, which makes the whipping cane do slightly more damage.

The other consideration for melee or ranged is which NPC are you bringing to fights. Cassius can go melee or ranged but you might prefer him at melee. Aaron is a melee specialist. Milou is a ranged specialist, with Crackshot and Ammo Pack. Like Cassius and Aaron, both Herculean Warrior Brawlers, Einar can do melee well, though he is pretty solid at ranged. So is Truls, although Truls is mostly left in melee. Greataxes are given to your Herculeans, miniguns to your Crackshots, that sort of thing. There is no hard and fast rule though. You can make Lovisa a minigunner if you train her hard enough. Not going to be as good, but good enough for most content.

Lastly, the enemy can also be a deciding factor. The Cultist Monk, the ninjas in the Black Scorpion gang, and especially the boss at Zapin Fields have high evasion. Cultist Monk is a preview for the other two much more evasive enemies. They do a good job at dodging melee attacks, especially powerstrike from greataxes or greatswords. They have a much harder time dodging bullet.
The new Relic Hunter quests help with that if you donate the relics.
Relics does not raise Academy standing as far as I can see. It raises your standing with Historical Society.

Speaking of minigun, anyone here tried Dexter Colt with minigun in the Dengi invasion? How much is his Pistoleer trait making it less likely to hit with the minigun? I might have to put him a full tier lower in the Dengi tierlist.

I don't believe you meet her uncle, you might be confusing Geller with Keller. There is a quest that you can met Mr. Geller.
This is what is being shown on my screen at the current moment for both the quest-line "Lost Girls" and the map of Crystal Heights.
