Well, it looks like the mor wiki a little outdated. According to it, other last books like "The Mare" "The Beyond", are also WIP, yet a have and read them

Fair point about those other books. I searched through the code for "The Departure" and "Henna's Medicine" specifically, and their names appear only twice and thrice respectively, and the text entries for reading those books are blank, unlike all the other books. So in their case, looks like the WIP label is correct.
Healing while you sleep is mostly dependent on the number and quality of nurses you have. You heal a little without them but not much.

Are they starving/on poor rations? Are your nurses too little or actively assigned jobs when midnight hits?
Not sure if the rations affect it but see if there are changes.

Again, does anyone know if there's a console command to restart/advance the Secret Garden quest? Mine seems to be broken.
I really don't want to have to start a fresh save on this. It takes a crazy amount of grinding (or cheating) to get anywhere in this game.
As long as I've played this game it hasn't moved, you still have to go through Actions --> Nika's to get someone pierced. You've never been able to walk to the shop with a follower and get it done.
Can i ask, what is the best browser to run this game in? I'm using firefox and after almost finishing the game, its taking 10-20 seconds sometimes when clicking on new day whereas on a new game its 1-2 seconds. Was just wondering if its a browser limitation or something else.
I use Edge and there is literally no delay ever when selecting new day.
Happens on Chrome as well.
The game just makes an ever increasing number of rolls for all sorts of things the more people you have in your household and so forth.
You could try selling/dismissing most of your household and see how fast day end works then.
Dunno if there's any browser that does not experience this.

Since over a year ago.
NPC Menu ---> Actions ---> Nika's.
That's how almost every action is now. Selling, surgery, piercing.
I only have two data points so take this with a grain of salt, but running a late game on my fairly new computer and my very old computer (Firefox on both) I see very different lag times on end day.
I refuse to use Edge but now I'm tempted to try Chrome and see if the end day is different there...
Edit to add: "late" for me still means under two years game time and about 100 NPCs in my house. I know some people here go much further.
