I just read that there's a hidden quest called cyber cannon acquisition on the wiki, how might one start that?

Tell me how to raise all the indicators of babysitters to +5 (if possible). Because my babysitters have all the indicators except Discipline (+3), Free Thinking (+3) and Corruption (+3) on +5, and these three +3. Thank you in advance.

Try post #17,531

But to answer your question, you can't raise all of them to +5, some are capped at +3.

It's in the wiki

Although step 4 says to kill the cultist monk, don't kill him, capture him.

You only need to remove him from the map because he's standing on top of the thing you need to click later.

How do you build a stronghold?

bought the building at the bottom of Redhaven and it said you can build a tavern, workshop or stronghold but the stronghold option isnt there when I go to the picker screen.

Not in the game, it's a holdover from the past but I don't think it will be added. Only workshop and Tavern for now.

WIP. Maybe later. The G mentions faction rework in the pipeline, so probly may have it there.

I have a quick question. Can anyone tell me the most cost effective method for preventing NPC affection drop? I have gotten many NPC's affection up to undying but it always ends up falling over time while I am preoccupied with other matters.

Given enough time, all of them seem to decay. I don't know if it is just random events over a period of time that end up droppping their affection below undying and then their affection starts to decay after that or if it was something else. All the options I have found for affection gain like food quality and salary can get very expencive when you have fifty people in your household.

Pool parties with at least one Jester (e.g. Bud). Minimum +2 a day -- offsets most incidental gradual decline.

Pool parties like he said, and like other guy said getting them to above 115 or whatever, also having your house fully upgraded as happiness seems to be related - so things like contentment are always positive and low amount of malevolent characters around.

Things that might be causing affection drops:
  • Fear 2+ because you have high Household Demoralization.
  • You invested into Falth's Brothers.
  • You turned on the salary demands in the settings and now they are asking for salaries that you did not grant.
  • You made them all your wives, and you set a First Wife, making all wives with respect less than 30 loss Affection.
  • Again, check the traits. Superficial could be causing drops. Nature Lover.
  • If it's none of those, send a save file.

Capped at Loving (75), unless grim forgot to put a setter on the Jesters. The only way it's getting to 110 is if she is at 74 Affection and you have 36 Jesters in your house.

Having high demoralization could be the issue. My playthoughs tend to end up with high demoralization, corruption, contentment, and efficiency with zero emancipation, purity, depravity, and disrepair. I didn't realize that demoralization could effect affection. I knew it could negatively effect fear but I have never noticed any NPC gaining significant fear even with a high demorlaizaiton value. If that is the case, I will just use lectures at the shrine to wash away the demoralization. The only reason I kept it around in the first place was for the willpower degradation.

I make a point of not keeping NPC's with the malevolent trait unless they are special in some way. Even then I try my to get rid of that trait through training.

The best way to keep everyone at Undying is simply to host a dinner for everyone every few days,

Then all you gotta worry about is complimenting your maids.
