If you snitch you get almost nothing, +1 Ikaanos standing and some 5k cash but the secret garden is no longer available. Letting her do the job is an obvious choice here, elixirs are nice for some quick corruption and you can have the target wear that most expensive necklace, don't remember the name, to get rid of the taint over several days.

And you also sometimes get daily events to increase city corruption, which is nice and to lower control, which is very nice too. With low control you get roaming bandits you can easily kill and one of the groups has 3 females. You can even pull back and try again to roll a different group, hopefully with 3 girls. The only problem is that for every group you kill control goes back up by 1 point, so anything that lowers control is very much needed if you want a steady source of female captives for huge influence gain when you auction them after a week.

You don't really need Stealth, just make sure Connor is at an appropriate assignment.

But it's better for Connor to find out ASAP anyways.

Rather than make him a slave, I let him quit and leave for 20-odd days. That way his Anger goes down to 0. Then re-hire him, up his salary and quickly boost his Affection as high as it will go and boom, 0-ish withdrawal risk and you just gotta wait out the Deadly Enemy.

I sent Connor as a leader to Kahil . This way his affection is not going down , when I sleep with his wife and daughter .

If you keep quiet, the political events referenced are rare enough that they're not a big deal, so you really only get extra Elixirs, which you cannot get anywhere else.

If you turn them in, you get some influence and Republic standing (IIRC), maybe also cash or something else minor.

The elixirs didn't turn out to be as useful as I thought, but they are helpful if you're looking to quickly remove Feminist, Pure and Vanilla traits.
What kind of quest is that and where do you get it?

  • Added 3 new political events (post SMR).
  • Minor UI adjustments for combat special attacks/tendstim/occult spell buttons.
  • Arizona and Louisiana will no longer accept Arena assignments if their WILLPOWER is 15+.

Any long-term plans to include other types of BDSM activities? -- I would really enjoy pissing on Aria from a great height.

So in starting a new game, during character creation, one of the traits I can select is "Crackshot", which requires a "Ranged Weapons" of 50. But I see no where that I can increase my "Ranged Weapons" rating, so does that mean I effectively cannot select that trait at the beginning of the game?

If so...why list it there?

You are able to get Ranged Combat to 50 by choosing to become an adept soldier under the skill class tab.

On another topic, does anyone find it odd that Dominant and Submissive are not on a scale like Shy and Extroverted are? Because as it stands, an NPC could be both dominant and submissive at the same time and that makes no sense.

It is called being a switch. You can be both.
Never heard of that. I learned something new today I guess. Now I just need to figure out how to get an NPC's dominant trait to go away without using the drugs. I have kept their willpower below 0 for a long time and it doesnt seem to be working to get rid of the dominant trait.

Well, according to the wiki it's a 5% chance, just like Malevolent increasing the Dominant trait is a 5% chance and the trait takes forever to pop up on your Malevolent NPCs.

Luckily I think you only need to get to 49/100 to deactivate it, so that's about a 1000 days if your NPC is 100/100 Dominant.

Yeah, that is what I had thought too but nothing has been happening with either of the NPCs that have the trait. By the math, they should be losing an average of one point per twenty days but so far, they havent lost any at all.

I asked ChatGPT to calculate an 99% - confidential intervall.

According to ChatGPT it spans from 661 to 1379 days, with 1020 days as median.

There is still a 1%-Chance left that you get either extremly lucky (< 661 days) or extremly unlucky (> 1379 days) and it takes less or more then anticipated. 0,5% - chance per each side of the intervall.

So ChatGPT can confirm your assumption that it takes around 1000 days in the middle.

While the wiki states the dominant trait has a chance to be lowered with negative willpower I don't see anything like that in the code, at least not in the current public version. Maybe the wiki is based on some newer version for patrons.

There are only 5 places where dominant is set in the code other than getting zeroed, 3 of them are for npcs that come with dominant trait, Kansas, Dolcaar and Bart Masters, one for a small chance to get it on a randomly generated npc and one for a 5% chance for +1 increase at midnight for malevolent, willpower>30 npcs.

That tracks with what is happening in my game. If low willpower was going to lower it, it definitely would have done it by now.

 What about Sofia Ortega, though...?

She always starts out with Dominant.

So that actually means that the entry in the MoR - Wiki is wrong?

It means that the entry in the WIki is wrong for the current version. It is at least not up to date. I know for sure that I lowered the dominant trait on Sofia in my first playthrough this way. But it was several versions ago. Haven't bothered in this version because the chance is so low and have simply cheated it away.

It can be considered to be a bug then.

So cheating it away seems like a good idea.
