It needs to be night with her as tonight special.

It's second round and socialize with a friend there it's random so you can save before the round to see if you get him.

After two times you will be able to talk to Furry about her.

She cost 15k.

The first condition is that it has to be on a day when Valerie is the special attraction.
Then you need to drink, and when you click round two there are 5 possible things that can happen. A woman joining you like on your screenshot is one of them, it could also be some distant relative, a DJ playing some analog vinyl, some general fun when darkness falls, and finally meeting and old friend who is a regular at the tavern. It's the friend event that you are specifically looking for, he will start talking about Valerie after you click the socialize button.

I'd like advises from more experimented players.

I'm playing as advised with Dying World/Grimdark, and it's going well.

However, I almost always play the same way at the start.

I put 70 points into Charisma and Manipulation, and I put some points into Slaver in the skill class to make the start easier.
I train women and sell them.

I'm wondering how you organize your game development if you choose not to put points into these attributes?
A lot of things are likely to be unavailable for a while, and books will never give enough points to compensate for a low investment in these areas.

Selling prisoners is likely to reach a limit very quickly.
My question is, how can I get a good start without Charisma or Manipulation?

I usually play with start from ashes, and pick some negative perks(loan, hunted etc) for extra points. I usually take the Brainy trait (40+ int) , and reduce beauty to 5 to get some extra points. In terms of positive perks Z-mark and educator(3 trainings_ are great. Others you can pick as you like to roleplay( i like preacher / range weapon shooter which gives a rifle and +10 to range). The first hire for me is usually Loren (hunter) and Juno (another hunter- give her the xbow). Just buy some ammo for them, they will make enough food and money for being profitable. Sell hides and extra food at market (food is expensive in dying world) and sell leather at armory and sell the skin at underworld. Then hire the 2 kids from the temple and assign them as scavengers, who will get you a lot of medicine (hp injectors) and stuffs to get started on crafting. I also get Ellen shaw as a science lecturer (which almost pays for helself) and assign her as an initial nurse/then later as quartermaster(once she has 80 science). Then I somehow capture the culturist monk (at stokeshill), he is the best early game trainer, and capturer. He is loyal and old enough to train other pawns, and best at capturing melee ( can get high melee skill like 160+). Then you can focus on crafting, reading books and attending university.
Also, pick two moons as an initial religion, which allows to enter arena from the start (after some devotion). Then hire a brawler girl like Enya/Rebecca to fight. She will make like 1000-2500 a day. You can hire Rachel for 3000( after two quests from Kymato) and send her to work in Golden Dragon (she makes 180/day) with free blowjobs in the morning for controlling MC's urges(Juno can do it as well if you pay her like 5 a day salary).

My question is, how can I get a good start without Charisma or Manipulation?
Charisma is easy to grind - just spam care, care > kiss > care, care ... and so on.
Manipulation is just a matter of time, you get +1 for every critical roll (1-2%?) when asking for sex. The alternative is to teach at the academy > scold the class (roll 10<=) to 70-80? (i think cap is 80 here, but i don't remember already), but you'll still have to earn the last points by asking for sex.
I usually max out manipulation at the academy, then ignore it and let it grow naturally without focusing on it.
The hardest thing to grind as for me is science, only 1 event in the tavern, and INT (Very boring. SpaceBall to 70 > Academy - Duel Genius to 80 > Poker to 90 - 1%? chance, i hate this part a lot)
Early game money - selling prisoners, low control is good for this. Hire/capture some cheap party, train a bit and fight 3 girls + 1 male gang (~10-20k per battle), you can f5 to reroll enemies. Do it 3-10 times and your early game is done pretty much.
My usual early game is fighting this gang (3+1) when control is 10< and doing my other stuff when control is 10+ (like spaming furry for science and gambling, hunting, exploring caves for 10 in ocult and so on.

Thank you.

I appreciat you took the time to answer.

I ll tried what you said and i think i ll dodge the science/int grind part at least for now by injecting some point at the start.

Thanks again.

Are you talking about the choices when you start a new game between Rise from ashes or Normal?
If yes,
why not pick normal instead of ashes?
280 points for normal seems better than 120 points?
When i tried Rise from ashes i expected perhaps a few differents things at the start.. perhaps i am wrong but it seems the same.
Or perhaps it is for RP.

Anyway thank you for your advices.

It's from my mod. Such npcs usually have changed stats when you add them to household. Before adding they may have random name and stats. During battle they will be unnamed. Zenobia is Cyber girl in battle etc. This one seems to be false positive, she's not that special but still she will have affection decreased by 20 and anger increased by 4. So kind of special but no idea why.

grimdark+dying world+rise of ashes; i believe the meta/min-maxxing strat, is play like a mercenary/warrior and make money just capturing slaves, even with -50% auction price debuff, you still make a ton of money if you're willing to use f5/reload to get decent stats and price
you can easily buy beauty stats with surgeries and farm strength and willpower, to mitigate your low charisma and manipulation
for me actually training slaves has always been something for the late game or just roleplay
also the workshop and the pool are obligatory for make money and farm relations efficiently at some point

People playing Dying World please what is your guard set up to defend against Bandit raids?
Most raids are from strength 30-150, so you try to get more than that. So, build up your guard pool with an experienced captain. In the early game "Cassius bauer" is a fantastic captain who can train and raise your guard stats. Put as many guards are possible (just dont add sloppy guards - like bud or ansel). Some rolls you may lose the battle and lose a lot of food, merchandise and portion of money. So always spend your money, and use your merch and sell excess food. I always feel, the more money you have, the bigger raids will come. Also dont forget to upgrade your walls, it adds your defense pool score. You will also get an event about Exterminate the worl cat. Dont kill it, it will grow and eventually add to your defense pool score for just 3 ration a day. Also dont forget to give good gears to your guards ( armor and guns- give best gun you can , bullets are not required )
