It's an auto save, not a manual save. How do you save? I've played about 2 hours on 4 separate occasions (about 10 hours of game time), and have to restart from beginning every time.
Weird, it's never saved for me. as I said i've had to restart every time i play. Oh well. It's an auto save, not a manual save.
You can see the save icon in the left bottom of the screen, I believe it auto saves every 5 minutes, or everytime you change map.

It was obvious after a few months. This game was quickly going nowhere. Instead of fixing things that needed fixing hard they kept adding more crap all the time.it's officially over , also their socials are all gone as well. Shame it ended up this way
Honestly, the updates on BotN have kinda gone the way of Cloud Meadows. Fewer with more time in between and significantly less content in each one. The only actual content that has been added in something like over a year has been the recent clothing system/merchant which amounts to allowing players to buy the clothes they could have chosen at character creation. Not really advancing the game towards completion in any meaningful way.Breeders of the Nephylem is still going. I wouldn't say it's going strong, but TBH it's pretty much good as is. Though I wish the 3d models there would have more variety.
This game was never really promising though. Each version was weird and buggy and laggy and the main features barely ever worked. But instead of fixing the core things they kept adding more creatures.maaaan, find this just now, and then find out its dead. why do all the promising games that entice me so end up never going anywhere, it's such a shame.
Game development is long, hard, often thankless work. And a lot of devs I think want that instant gratification which isn't going to come. Also, sometimes first-time devs bite off far more than they can chew, and it results in burnout. Also, development can be expensive, and sometimes financial changes, or changes in prices of the engine can kill projects.maaaan, find this just now, and then find out its dead. why do all the promising games that entice me so end up never going anywhere, it's such a shame.
you are not kidding.....I tried game dev once......realized how horrible a programmer I am, and finally after many years of wanting to work on the damn thing and not having the willpower to do so, gave up on mine, so yea, your not kidding in the slightest there with the reasons listed. especially the burnout.Game development is long, hard, often thankless work. But there are worst reasons for games to end.
Aged poorlyHey, maybe this one will finally break the curse!
