This game is cool, with good animations and many different sex scenes. But damn, it's too hard! The basic attack has a really long cooldown. I'm only at level 2 (after raging at level 1 and using a password to skip), and I can't walk for 15 seconds without getting fucked.

I think it would be better if the game was easier, or if we could choose the difficulty level. It's rare to find a femboy game that isn't a visual novel or RPG Maker.
Make it easier and the game would be perfect

It's really odd that this game is eating up almost 60% of my cpu... just in the gallery...
Also, what is the lynx test exactly? I ran it and it was just an extremely jank version of the game with only level 1 and no gallery or anything else (not even the good boy)

i think your computer is just too weak for the game, with my gaming laptop the game in gallery (auto play animation) just take 2.4% and for ram 150 mo

it isnt your hardware, its just what happens when you zoom closer to the sprites!
You can see how T-Hoodie improved and learned throughout making this game. Which is also why he reworked the first level not long ago. There are a bunch of issues that stem from lack of experience, not making sprites at a higher resolution so zooming would work without making it blurry, is one.
ah thanks for clarifying, I was so sure it was my hardware since it's like 7 years old by this point lol, I assume this won't be fixed anytime soon since they would need to redo all the animation

Dust an Elysian Tale- a game that came out 13 years ago- has animated backgrounds, 20+ enemies on screen in harder dificulties, abilities and bosses that flood the screen with projectiles, and a dynamic weather system all while getting 60fps at 1080p on the xbox 360. My own system, an Acer Aspire 5, can get 3000 sprites sprites at 60fpsin the web version of bunnymark frames all while using 30-40% of my cpu (rRzen 3 3300u) including the overhead from running in a browser.

This game meanwhile never has more than about 10-20 sprites on screen and spikes to 80% usage on the main menu. This game's optimization is hot garbage and the question of what's happening is valid.

Did you check with MSI Afterburner, Special K or likes about your useage or fps?
This is likely the reason (and my post following for solutions).

See above and this or this.

I don't think its that hard actually. Sure not everything works out on the first go, but if it would be too easy it would be boring. And for those still troubling there is level skip, keys for faster movement ... and my table (which you can use to take your time with the game).

Ah cool, thanks for the links I'll check them out

Edit: so far yup seems like limiting/capping the fps worked like a charm

Usage was previously checked with htop which didn't have a built in fps tool. Switching to MangoHud I got a stable 755 fps with spikes up to 1020 fps.
Setting the limit to 60fps the game still spikes to 35% usage for a minute or so before settling on a much more reasonable 8%. Part of the mystery is solved but that spike when booting the game still concerns me. It's also odd that Unity has the framerate uncaped for desktop by default and dissuades developers from manually setting a limit in the docs.
