Yeeee New update is finally done!



NEW THIS UPDATE:

Completely new set of animations for Max! He is a lot cuter now!
Chance for Dark Dee to spawn in each level! BEWARE!
Corrupted Maxturbate can trigger!
Rebalanced damage and struggle counts for a lot of enemies!
New audio by ElectroDolly! Redo of audio for Fairy Nymph and Mirror Dee!
Bugfixes and art updates (missing hoodie pockets, missing Lola in time-up screen etc.)
Level 6 is still far from done, but I think you will still like this update a lot! Play from the start and feel the new animations <3.



If you find new bugs or problems:

We have a channel on discord (#playtester comments) where you can post your thoughts and findings, You can also message me directly about big bugs but I mostly prefer to be contacted on the discord server.



Known bug(s):

Sometimes Max's Slide attack does not come out right, we're looking into it.
Troubleshooting:

Questions about opening a .ZIP file and other technical problems are explained in the WINDOWS README.txt or MAC file below! Any special problems or questions: ask us in the discord.

MOBILE USERS:

This is a bit of an important announcement. As you know we struggle a lot with getting the mobile version properly working each new update. Everytime the game gets bigger, there seem to be more and more problems on mobile. So from now on I'm sorry but we will do the following:

We will stop releasing mobile updates until the game is fully completed and ready for one big proper effort to convert the game to mobile.



As compensation for mobile users: I made a set of quality videos that can be played and watched on your mobile device, without having to play the game.

You could have also used jdownloader and its plugin workarounds. But yeah, its a known limitation with google drive, once too much ppl dl, a quota limit hits and u else have to use account. Torao was so nice to add another hoster too. Or wait till its updated to OP (which it is btw even for b).

animations might be the wrong word. Looks? Faces?
I also do wonder what some ppl think about the "Rebalanced damage and struggle counts for a lot of enemies!" given how ppl framed the prev. keystrokes and "Dark Dee" (the one that mirrors u)

Oh, so I wasn't crazy when I found something off about how much harder some struggles were ESPECIALLY in level 1 (which felt more punishing than later 3 levels.)

Trying the game for the first time but it's like brutally difficult on level 1. Get caught and press A + D and no matter how fast or try to time it to what I see on screen (instead of just spam) I basically never have a chance at getting free so I don't get the point. I get corrupted at 5 times but since enemies can come from behind me unless I memorize the timings of everything along with my attacks I don't get how to progress at all.

This feels like a brutal platformer but maybe that's just the point in which case, okay.

Have you tried dodging (with backwards jumping) those coming from behind?

max the elf was one of my favorite gay boys years back!! had no idea he had his own game wowww

(edit: i guess i did know, because apparently i have this thread bookmarked?? LOL i guess i just never got around to playing)
