The part 1 for chapter 3 is the first part of chapter 3 compress archive file, the part 2 is the second part of chapter 3 compress archive file and the part 3 is the third part of chapter 3 compress archive file. Don't know the real difference in this three parts, if you would want to know, then you would need to do a file compare....
Regardless, yes, you will need all three parts of the splitted (compressed) archive file.

Usually, that will do your software for you (which one you use). If I'm not completely wrong, it is also the case here.
