So, I downloaded both the normal version and the 4k version. Started from the beggining for both. In the normal one, when they got to the scene where they discuss "how we're going to do this", it had normal images. On the 4k one, it just had the weird transition screen. So it seems that the 4k version is just flat out missing some images for some scenes.

update, just ran the game again on another computer, and now both versions are missing that scene? what the hell?

There is no need to fix it's deliberate. the dev have just put a dark scene sometime...

other that that and a few misspelled words .. not bad seeing this update took so long to make

So far this VN is great. But I'm really really surprised that with the sheer amount of comments here, and positive reviews, that there are such a little amount of people supporting the Dev.
There's 41 people, which if I were to compare with literally any other VN page on here, would be like 5-7x less. I can't explain it.
I hope more people will support if they actually like the game.

I hope the developer keeps updating the game and doesn't let it die, since it has a great story at hand and very good character design, this game has everything to be a masterpiece of incest, just as Man of the House was, dmd , photo hunter or the tyrant, although the latter was abandoned, the game is a legend in incest content, it's a shame that they never gave it an ending, I hope this is not the case and this game takes its place in the legends of incest games

And for people having save issues, probably too much was changed, and you can just chapter select anyway, no need to ask for saves.

These screens were introduced by the dev deliberately since the very first version of the game. It's not a bug and it has nothing to do with this update being a beta.
I asked the same question a looooong time ago and the dev himself replied to me: https://f95zone.to/threads/measuring-my-cum-ch-4-suzinak.65970/post-6173152

I still believe it to be a very questionable choice, and the fact that over 2 years later some people still think it's a bug proves that I was right. You can read my original opinion in the post right below the one I've linked.

I checked the source and see no other mention of zip-ties other than those 3 lines after the cut to night after meeting Sophie. But the wrist marks are mentioned a few times in chapter 3. It seems like a scene was removed but just not cleanly.
